Today Is Your Day!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you are having a great weekend! My mom asked me to make a card for a friend's 70th birthday, and she wanted one in a style that I've made before.
For this card, I used my Gypsy to make the shape of the card, using Base Camp for the number cut-outs. I added a piece of clear plastic behind the numbers to adhere the center of the zero. The frame around the numbers is from Elegant Edges and I again used the Gypsy for the correct measurements. I adhered it with foam tape for some dimension. I used K Andrew's Positive Thoughts stamp for the sentiment.
When you pull the ribbon, the birthday note appears. There is space on the back for a handwritten note.
I also like to decorated the envelope to match the card.

Hello Friend!

Happy Thursday, everyone! I have the BEST followers/friends in all of blogland! You guys are simply amazing! Thank you so much for all of your well wishes on my new endeavor as a design team member for Getting Cricky! I can't tell you how much your support means to me :)
I made a quick card to enter into the challenge this week at Cooking With Cricut - S'mores. Yum! And More than Favors Wacky Wednesday #47 - Friendship. (Thanks Melissa!!)

For this card I cut the raccoon and squirrel from Create a critter at 3". The fire is from Campout and the marshmallow is from Campin Critters. I added a zig-zag of glue and then covered it with white glitter to make it sparkle. The s'more in the squirrel's hand is handmade and I even added an extra bar of chocolate :) I used two of my awesome K Andrew stamps for this project. Kristal donates a portion of the proceeds from every stamp set sold to charity - great stamps, great cause! You can purchase her stamps with pride, knowing you are doing something good for those in need. And you will LOVE the stamps...so many great sentiments that are fun and versatile! Very Exciting News!!

Hi everyone - I am so excited to announce that I have been selected as a Design Team member for Getting Cricky!!
I am beyond thrilled! Kristal's stamps are simply fabulous - the sentiments are so excellent and multi-purposeful, they stamp perfectly, and a portion of the proceeds of every single set sold directly benefits charity. How amazing is that? I feel so good using a product that I love and know that by purchasing it, I have given a little something back. Kristal thoroughly researches every charity she donates to...making sure they give at least 85% or more directly to the people in need. It is a complete win-win situation: great stamps-great cause!! So buy her stamps with pride, knowing you are doing something good for those in need!

I look forward to sharing my first DT project with you and stay tuned...I just may have some of these amazing stamps to give away ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by :)
