DL.ART April Linky

Happy Sunday, Happy April and Happy Easter!! A new month means it's time for a new monthly linky at DL.ART. As always, the theme is Anything Goes. If you use the code LF222, Diana will give you a 10% discount to shop at DL.ART.

It's Easter, and I'm posting Christmas cards :) But I had to use the awesome new goodies that I won from my dear friend Mary of Carolina Cards by MaryH!! Thank you again, Mary!! I absolutely love everything!!

Aren't these little guys the cutest??!! They are Avery Elle Snow Much Fun stamps and dies. I thought the sledding couple would be perfect to use with Lawn Fawn's Slide on Over dies :)

The critters were heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle Black Detail embossing powder and then watercolored. This gorgeous crinkle ribbon is Lavender from the Spring Bundle #1.

The hills are Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside dies and they were embossed with a Sizzix 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I used a Tonic Nuvo Aqua Pen to give the critters a touch of sparkle.

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to DL.ART to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Anything Goes project. I can't wait to see what you create :)

For Someone So Special For Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of greeting cards to share with you today.

These cards feature several products found in the Sparkle N Sprinkle Shop.

The papers are from Maja Designs. The flowers and laces are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

The amazing background sparkle is NUVO Glimmer Paste Moonstone applied through a Prima stencil.

Along the bottom side, I used NUVO Crystal Drops in Raspberry and Wisteria.

A Super Adhesive Sheet was applied to a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval Die and covered with Crystal Ice glitter.

The sentiment is from the Pretty Blooms stamp set. It was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with White Detail on a Joy Crafts banner die. The circle of hearts is an Avery Elle Heart Frame die.

This butterfly was heat embossed with Cotton Candy embossing powder.

And this one was covered with Sugar Plum glitter.

Kindness is Always Beautiful for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring the newly released Bearded Iris stamp set.

SNS is starting something new this month. Instead of a traditional blog hop, the designers will begin showcasing the new stamp sets on the 5th of each month, and a winner of a $20 gift certificate to shop at SNS will be chosen at the end of each month. The winner will be chosen from comments left on both the SNS Blog and a mystery designer's blog.

For these cards, I used the new Bearded Iris 889 stamp set. Using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform (1707E), I applied Versamark Embossing Ink Pad (VM001) to the stamp, and then heat embossed it with Black Detail (EP171) embossing powder. Next, I applied Super Adhesive Sheets (SAS02) to cardstock and cut it with the Tonic Double Detail Jewelled Crown (1143E) die. It was then covered with Crystal Ice (G1058) glitter. A Nuvo Crystal Drop SimplyWhite (651N) was added. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART.

For the corners, I used the same technique, applying Super Adhesive Sheets (SAS02) to cardstock and cutting it with Tonic Double Detail Jewelled Crown (1143E) dies. This time, I heat embossed them with Super Thick White (EP355) embossing powder. I love the texture!!

I colored the Bearded Iris 889 with watercolor paints and then I went over it with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen (888N) for sparkle. Using Tonic Spring-Cut Fine Tip Detail Scissors 6.5” (404), I cut around the bloom and popped it up for dimension.

I absolutely love the Glitter Stencil Background Technique Demo Donna showcased in the video HERE and had to try it. First, I applied Sticker Paper (99558) to cardstock and cut it with Tonic Mixed Edge Oval (1456E) die. Then I ran a bar of Hawaiian Coconut Oil Soap (SOAP) over the back of a Stampendous Moroccan Mesh Metal Stencil (FMS4086) so it wouldn't stick to the sticker paper. Then I placed it on the sticky paper and applied Sugar Plum (G1096), Lacy Lilac (G1033), and  Purple Fig (GM2047) glitters. The next step is to peel off the stencil, which comes off easily since the Hawaiian soap was applied, and then cover the remaining sticky paper with Crystal Ice (G1058). I encourage you to try this technique...it's addicting!!

A Taylored Expressions Banner Die was cut with vellum, and the using Versamark Embossing Ink Pad (VM001), the sentiment was stamped and embossed with Gold Detail (EP168) embossing powder.
