Scrapy Land Challenge #98 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! I am going on vacation for two weeks, so I won't be able to comment until I come back on the 7th of October. I have a couple of posts scheduled while I'm away. It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme is Anything Goes featuring a brand of die Scrapy Land carries...there are over 55 to choose from.

I created two Christmas cards that are about as masculine as I can get :) I used papers from an old DCWV stack (I think).

I cut out a Memory Box Stitched Trees with a Memory Box Stitched Circles for the base of the card. The trees are Frantic Stamper Tall Pine Trees cut in sparkle paper. The deer family are Impression Obsession Dear Trio dies and they were popped up with foam tape for dimension.

Beneath the Wild Orchid Crafts poinsettia are Impression Obsession Pine Branch, Impression Obsession Pine Pair, Impression Obsession Pine Sprig Cluster and Memory Box Holiday Twigs dies. The sentiment is from Altenew, stamped on a Sue Wilson Pierced Flags .

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1) DL.ART Monthly Linky ~ Anything Goes
2) Word Art Wednesday ~ Anything Goes
3) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday ~ Anything Goes

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Anything Goes project using a brand of die Scrapy Land carries...you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Also, we're getting closer to our 100th Celebration!! Mark your calendar for October 17th!! There will be prizes and surprises!! I will stop by to visit when I get home!!

Celebrate the Season for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a card to share with you featuring the new Cardinal and Holly stamp set.

To start off, I applied Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges of cardstock and then covered it with Cloud Nine glitter. The next layer was covered with Luau Green glitter.

Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Dies were used for the next layers. The bottom layer was brushed with Brushable Glue and then covered  Gypsy Red glitter.

The beautiful cardinal from the Cardinal and Holly stamp set was stamped with the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform using Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then heat embossed with Black Detail embossing powder. It was then watercolored and once dry, brushed with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen for shimmer. I then cut it out and popped it up for dimension.

For the leaves, after they were watercolored, I used a Nuvo Glue Pen Smooth Precision and then added Luau Green glitter. The berries are Nuvo Crystal Drops Red Berry.

Using Tear-ific Tape 2” over cardstock, I cut out a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval and then covered it with Red Apple and heat embossed it for a cracked look. The sentiment is from the Christmas Baubles stamp set, also embossed with Red Apple.
