What a Wonderful Day for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Friday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have  two shaker cards to share with you using the beautiful Rainbow Roses DIGI set.

For the bottom two layers, I adhered Tear-ific Tape ¼" to the edges of cardstock. The bottom layer was heat embossed with Gold Detail embossing powder. The next layer was heat embossed with Princess Rose embossing powder. I used Tear-ific Tape 2” to adhere the layers together.

It's highly possible that I'm completely addicted to the Nuvo Shimmer Powders :) For the background, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Solar Flare, Green Parade and Cherry Bomb. I also spritzed on Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear.

A Tonic Mixed Edge Oval was used as a frame around the shaker. It was heat embossed with Gold Detail embossing powder.

After I printed out the pre-colored image, I covered it with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Midas Touch Glitter Gloss Pen for amazing sparkle. The shaker is filled with Nuvo Cross My Heart Confetti Diamond Harlequin and Candy Pink Circles and Nuvo Golden Years Confetti Ice White Circles.

The butterflies were covered with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon from DL.ART. The butterflies are from Lemoncraft.

Sending Smiles for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have a couple of colorful cards to share with you today featuring the Feathered Friends stamp set, and the Botanical Orchid Flowers stamp set for the sentiment.

I started off by adhering Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges of cardstock and then heat embossed it with Amethyst embossing powder.

The background was created with Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Solar Flare,  Atlantis Burst, Violet Brocade and Cherry Bomb. I added a spritz or two of Nuvo Mica Mist Nebula Blue as well.

I had a happy accident when I went to spritz it with Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear. The nozzle was clogged and it dripped out instead of squirting, but I love the look the drops added.

Using a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and Versamark Embossing Ink Pad, I heat embossed the birds with Black Detail before coloring them with markers. I used Nuvo Hybrid Ink Pad Sea Siren Polar Ice to add color around the birds. They were framed with Memory Box Circles covered in Impulsive Purple glitter.

The sentiment is from the Botanical Orchid Flowers stamp set, and it was heat embossed with Black Detail embossing powder. The layers were adhered together with Tear-ific Tape 2”.

As a finishing touch, I added Nuvo Golden Years Confetti Ice White Circles.

Scrapy Land Challenge #96 ~ Anything Goes

Hello, everyone and happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme as always is Anything Goes Using a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from. If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land.

For my cards, I used papers from Lemoncraft's Yesterday paper stack, which you can find in my ETSY store HERE.

I used a Sue Wilson Olivia die, and layered a Penny Black Doily Trio over the top.

Thank is an Avery Elle A Tag for All die. "You So Much" was stamped on a La-La Land Stitched Elements die and heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White Detail embossing powder.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART.

Tucked beneath the flowers are Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage and Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch. I also added prills for texture.

The butterfly is a Poppystamps Stitched Butterfly Trio and the top butterfly was covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter.

Birds of a Feather for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring the new Feathered Friends stamp set.



For the base of the card, I adhered Tear-ific Tape ½” to the edges of cardstock and then covered it with Impulsive Purple glitter.

For the next three layers, I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders in Green Parade, Atlantis Burst, Violet Brocade and Blue Blitz. On the Shimmer Powders, I used a mixture of water and Nuvo Mica Mists in Nebula Blue and Fresh Pear.

Using a Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die, I cut out a layer of the papers colored with the Nuvo Shimmer Powders and Mica Mists. I then used a Tonic Patterned Panels Deco Diamond to create a stencil, and adhered Nuvo Glimmer Paste Tanzanite.

Using a Tonic Sunray Venus die, I cut another panel and then heat-embossed the Feathered Friends image with Black Detail embossing powder. I repeated the steps before coloring them with Spectrum Noir markers, covering them with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen and fussy cutting the birds. They were popped up with foam tape for dimension.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon from DL.ART. I adhered Super-Adhesive Sheets over cardstock and then used Tonic Mixed Edge Ovals to cut the two ovals for the sentiment. The base was covered with Cobalt Glaze glitter. The top layer was heat embossed with Sapphire embossing powder. The sentiment was heat embossed with White Detail embossing powder. I also used Super Thick White embossing powder for added texture.
