Paper Playtime Umbrella Challenge!!

Hi everyone and happy Monday!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! Its the first Monday in April, so that means it's time for a Delicious Die Cuts Challenge at Paper Playtime!! The challenge this week is to use any die cut and an umbrella on your project :)

I made this card for my cousin who just underwent a double mastectomy.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 2 Rosy stack.

I stitched the background paper to the base of the card. The tan background is a Spellbinders Creative Book Pages 2 die, inked with Walnut Distress Ink. I stitched it to black cardstock. The black and white polka dot design is a Spellbinders Lacy Doily Motif die.

The labels are Spellbinders labels 11, and I embossed the bottom one with the Swiss Dots embossing folder to mimic the spots on the lacy doily. I added Glossy Accents to the umbrella girl and inked the edged with Walnut Distress Ink.

This label is a Spellbinders Label 10. "Brave is beautiful" is from K Andrew Designs Positive Thoughts stamp set.

I used a Spellbinders Fleur de lis Square for the inside, again inked with Walnut Distress Ink, and a stamp from K Andrew Designs Scripture Sayings stamp set. Click HERE to purchase your own set or to see her entire fabulous line of stamps!!

I don't remember where I got the ribbon...I've  had it for so long. Both strips of lace along the bottom are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Paper Playtime to see all of the fabulous projects my design team sisters have created!! Then link up your own die cut/umbrella project!! I can't wait to see what you create :)
