For the Happy Birthday Diana Blog Hop, click HERE!!

Happy Monday, everyone!! I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing weekend!! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means it's time for a Die Cut Challenge at Paper Playtime. For Challenge #81, we want to see your HOT & SPICY projects using a die cut or punch.

You can use the HOT theme (beach day, sunshine scenes, melting ice cream, etc) or the SPICY theme (spicy food, chili peppers, jalapenos, kitchen cooking, grilling, etc).

Our sponsor this challenge with a prize of a $15 Gift Certificate is...

The base of this hot & spicy card is a Spellbinders Grand Rectangle, wrapped in orange, red and yellow twine. The next layer is a Spellbinders Labels 8, with the edges sanded and then inked with Fired Brick Distress Ink. The red Dew Drops are from The Robin's Nest. "Hot" is from K Andrew Designs Coffee & Tea Treats Tag-Along stamp set

The black layer is a Spellbinders Labels 10 with the edges sanded. Spicy was cut from Spellbinders Donna's Alphas and embossed with the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder and inked with Fired Brick Distress Ink. The chili peppers were stamped on different cardstock, cut out and then embossed with Swiss Dots and covered with Glossy Accents.

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Paper Playtime to see the incredible projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge, then link up you Hot & Spicy project!! I can't wait to see what you create :)
