Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - Bundle of Joy

Happy Friday!! I've been glued to the TV today watching the coverage in Boston. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the tragedy and those in Texas as well.

It's time for a Fun Friday Challenge at Little Scrap Pieces!! This week our theme is Bundle of Joy. We want to see your cards, layouts or projects for a baby :)

The base of the card is heavyweight cardstock from Canvas Corp. The rest of the paper is from the First Edition Spring Feast stack. I used my sewing machine for the first time in a while and stitched the patterned paper to the base.

The rosettes are Tim Holtz Paper Rosettes and Mini Paper Rosettes dies. The letters are Tim Holtz Idea-ology Alpha Parts. The awesome skittles in the top right corner are from my sweet friend Carri!! You can purchase your own at her website Doubleclick - AKA ABusyBee.

The gorgeous crinkle ribbon is from our amazing hostess Karen of Little Scrap Pieces!! The tag is a Spellbinders Back to Basics tag. "It's a Boy" is from K Andrew Designs Southern Sayings stamp set.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art Thankful Thursday- April Linky Party
  2. Sunday Funday #8 - April Linky Party
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Little Scrap Pieces to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Bundle of Joy project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

  16. Very cute rosettes, Lisa! I love the pop of orange you used for the bow, it really gives the card some umpf! I couldn't watch much more TV, it was on all night, I just couldn't fall asleep. I had to create some cards to get my mind off all the bombing in Boston and explosions here in TX. Hope you have a great weekend with your family. Take care!
