Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - Buttons & Bows

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! I had a little time during my travels today to visit some of you...I will catch up with everyone else as soon as I can :) It's time for a Fun Friday challenge at Little Scrap Pieces. Our challenge this week is Buttons & Bows...we want you to use at least one button and one bow on your project.


For this challenge, I created a card for the my favorite person in the world, my best friend...my Mom :)


The paper is from the Paper Paislee London Market stack (love this one!!) The edges were all inked with Tim Holtz Old Paper Distress Ink. The banner is made up of Spellbinders Nested Pennants dies. The flower buttons are from Hobby Lobby and the hemp twine is from Michaels.


Spellbinders Labels Twenty were used for the sentiment. "Happy Mother's Day" is from Scrappy Mom's All in the Family stamp set. The crystal gems are from my stash. The ribbon is from May Arts and the charm is from Hobby Lobby.

    My sweetest friend, this is beyond exquisite! Your mom is going to adore every inch of this masterpiece. The papers are too lovely for words... I so wish Pink Paislee was easier to come by locally! The design is beautiful.. I love the musical banner topped with sweet flower buttons. The center panel is brilliant! I love that it matches that banner. This card certainly shines with the beauty of love.. and I cannot WAIT for your mom to hold it in her hands. :o) **protects it from a sappy tear drop** :o) Gorgeous work as always, my dear Lisa!
