Decorate to Celebrate #50 - For the Girls

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! I just have not been able to find time to hit my craft room lately. So many deadlines and events this spring. So I apologize for the long delays between posts. But today, it's time for a fun Decorate to Celebrate Challenge!! For this one, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration or party supply for a girl (or woman or lady). Let's celebrate everything wonderful about being a girl from birthdays and Mother's Day to spa days and girls night out to being a princess or diva with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more :)

This is a fun challenge, isn't it??!! For my girls project, I created gift bags that can be filled with all kinds of spa goodies or treats or presents :) The directions for making this bag can be found at Split Coast Stampers HERE.  The paper is from My Mind's Eye Bloom stack. The edges were inked with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. The top scallop is an EK Success punch.

The center shape is a Spellbinders Labels Ten die, inked with TH Victorian Velvet Distress Ink and popped up with foam tape for dimension. The shopping girl stamp is from the Close to My Heart Fashionista stamp set. She was stamped in Versafine Black Onyx. The circles were colored in with a TH Tattered Rose Distress Marker. The border is a Spellbinders Classic Petal Edgabilities die, inked with Victorian Velvet and adorned with crystal gems. The sentiment is from the same CTMH Fashionista stamp set and is on a Spellbinders Back to Basics tag inked with Victorian Velvet.

I am entering the bag in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes (3)
  2. Heck of a Challenge - Fashion
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Decorate to Celebrate to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Girls Night project...I can't wait to see what you create :)
