Little Scrap Pieces Fun Friday - It's a Bug's Life

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! Friday means a new challenge at Little Scrap Pieces. This week the theme is It's a Bug's Life...we want to see a bug on your cards, layouts or projects :)

The black base paper is from The Paper Studio. The rest of the paper is from My Mind's Eye Dolled Up stack. The edges were distressed with a Zutter Distress-It-All. 'You Are So Special' is from JustRite's Grand Sentiments stamp set.

The base of the flower is a Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles Large, followed by a Spellbinders Standard Circles Large die. The edges were sanded with a Tim Holtz Sanding Block to bring out the embossing. The ladybug was made from Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Standard Circles Small dies. The hearts were punched...not sure who made the punch - I've had it forever. The googly eyes are from Joann, and she was popped up with foam tape for dimension.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art Thankful Thursday - May Linky Party
  2. 2 Creative Chicks Challenge #2 - Googly Eyes
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Little Scrap Pieces to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your It's a Bug's Life project...I can't wait to see what you create :)
