Paper Playtime #12 - Anything Goes

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! It was beautiful here...mid 70's and sunny most of the time. I hated for the weekend to end :)

The challenge this week at Paper Playtime is Anything Goes!! Easy Peasy, right??!! Our sponsors for this challenge are Sharon of MeeMee's Creations and My Craft Spot. Head on over to the Paper Playtime blog for all the details :)

For my project, I created a Father's Day card. The base of the card is a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Rectangle, followed by a Spellbinders Grand Rectangle. The Grand Rectangle was inked with Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink. A Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics A die was embossed with a Spellbinders Bricks and Bark M-Bossabilities folder. It was inked with Fired Brick Distress Ink. The stamp is from the Dylusions Mini Couture set, stamped on Ranger Specialty Stamping Paper. It was colored with Tim Holtz Distress Markers in Faded Jeans and Crushed Olive and a TH waterbrush.

The crinkle ribbon is from my awesome friend Karen of Little Scrap Pieces. The tag is a Spellbinders Back to Basics tag, inked with Fired Brick. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's All in the Family stamp set.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. Simon Says Stamp - Masculine/Father's Day
  2. DL.Art - Anything Goes Linky Party
  3. Scrappy Mom Stamps - Father's Day
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Paper Playtime to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Anything Goes project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

My sweetest friend, how do you masculine cards so brilliantly? (No, really! Tell me. ;) This is spectacular! The background is amazing, especially when inked to the max. I (a mere mortal) would have simply embossed red cardstock. But you once again showed your brilliance by making it far more impressive with the Fired Brick. The stylin' image pops so beautifully against that brick! You did a fantastic job with him. I love the marvelous combination of the soft ribbon against the hard 'brick' background. :o) Beautifully done as always, my dear Lisa! I hope you're having a twinkly night. :o)

Hugs and blessings!
