Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party #11 - Birthday Challenge

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend!! I am trying to catch up from being gone for several days. I just got home and have not had a chance to visit anyone so I will be doing that in the next few days :)


I am guest posting at Craftin' Desert Divas for the second week of the Birthday Challenge with an Animal :)  You have one more week to create a birthday project.

Every linky party will have a sponsor and a winner, plus a top 3. The winner will be announced on a semi-weekly basis. The more times you link up, the more chances you have to win. If you make the Top 3 you will also be invited to be a guest designer on an upcoming linky party!!


All of the papers for this are from my stash. The base is a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Rectangle, followed by a Spellbinders Grand Rectangle. The gorgeous crinkle ribbon is from my sweet friend Karen of Little Scrap Pieces.


The adorable hippo is from Create a Critter, cut in Core'dinations Core Couture cardstock. The hippo was popped up with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment tags are Spellbinders Nested Pennants dies. The sentiments are from K Andrew Designs stamp sets.

    My sweetest friend, welcome home!!! :o) You were dearly missed. This card is all things sweet and gorgeous, Lisa! I LOVE how bright and happy you made it! Every hippo card should be this unbelievably pretty.
