This should have posted last Friday and I sincerely apologize for the delay. I didn't get the chance to get online during my business trip. I have been trying to get all caught up on my commenting, so if I haven't been by your blog yet, I will soon :)
The Fun Friday Challenge at Little Scrap Pieces this week is Christmas in July. I love this because come December, I always need Christmas cards :)
All of the paper is from My Mind's Eye O Christmas Tree stack. The layers were cut with Spellbinders Elegant Labels 4 dies. The middle layer is a Spellbinders Labels 4 die. The gorgeous poinsettia was cut with a Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia die. The bottom layer was inked with Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks. The other layers were inked with TH Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.
The sentiment layer was cut with a Spellbinders Fancy Frames Two die. "Christmas Wishes" is from JustRite Stamps Deck the Halls stamp set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
- Fun-Day Friday Challenge - Bling it Up
- DL.Art - Christmas in July
- DL.Art - Thankful Thursday - July Anything Goes
- Sunday Funday #11 - Linky Party
WOW so many gorgeous layers Lisa and Thank you so much for the kind words on my Foam roses tutorial
ReplyDeleteMy sweetest friend, this is exquisite! The layers are gorgeous, especially since you used patterned paper for them. Each design is stunning. I love the gorgeous poinsettia, which so beautifully delivers sweet Christmas wishes. Pearly accents are always perfect, but I extra love them for winter cards because they remind of me snowflakes. :o) Lovely creation, my dear Lisa! It will bring so much festive love to the future recipient. :o) Have a twinkly night! (I'm sorry this is so short! I'm not feeling well.)
