Inspired by Tim's August 2013 Tag

Happy Sunday!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! It's warmed up a bit here - low 80's - but still beautiful summer weather. Although I love fall, I'm not ready to let summer go just yet :)


I have a tag to share with you today inspired by Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of 2013 August tag. I am so excited that I had all the ingredients to make the tag...actually all four that he showcased this month. I will have another project soon using all of the stamp sets.


I won't write out the instructions since I pretty much followed Tim's tutorial exactly (HERE). I did however use some of his new stencils first. I used Stars, Stripes and Dot Fade in the background before I started stamping.

    Glad you had a great weekend! The weather was pretty nice here to! We really need some rain though...the grass is even turning a yellow/brown now. It's hard to think about summer coming to an end. I feel so robbed this year..not a lot of time to enjoy:( Oh, well I guess that happens now and then. I am really looking forward to our annual trip to Mexico. It's coming really soon, yeah! Need a getaway with my hubby!

    My sweetest friend, this is magnificent! The design is certainly stunning... and of course one of my favorite elements is the one YOU added to his instructions. :o) The new stencil fade looks fantastic! I can't wrap my head around how perfectly you make backgrounds and such. :o) The car is amazing and the inking throughout is lovely.     I don't even know where to start loving this tag! The backgrounds are so fabulous...I've never worked with them but think I need to learn, the vintage stamps are great. I bought Tim's vintage gas station attendant stamp but not the car....I'm wondering why now. Thanks for sharing this, Lisa!
