Scrappin4fun Guest Designer Challenge


Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! I'm super-excited to be participating in the Scrapping4fun Challenge Blog's Guest Designer Challenge!! Guest designers from last year are participating in a sketch challenge...I was a guest designer for Challenge #17. I'd love it if you stopped by the Scrapping4fun Blog and voted for my card (my voting number is: 16GDLisaF). Thank you!! :)


This is the sketch we used for our projects.


For my card, I used papers from Prima and distressed the edges. The gorgeous crinkle ribbon is from My Craft Spot, topped with a Die-Versions button die. Happy is a My Creative Time die. It was cut several times and layered together for dimension. Both of the sentiments are also from MCT.


Designs from the paper were cut out with MCT Bunch of Fun Circle dies. The larger scalloped circle is a Spellbinders die. The MCT butterfly was cut twice and popped up with foam tape for dimension. The leaves are My Memory Box Fresh Foliage dies. The sentiment banner is from LaLa Land.

    Wow this card has so much detail & dimension going on, where to start? Loving the stitched dies. Great vintage papers, and great use of the patterns in the circle dies too. Such a lovely extra detail. Always the gorgeous bows, and the leaf flourishes tucked in behind are another layer of pretty detail. Really liked the way you've gotten so much dimension with the layers of the sentiment die too...that really pops. This is just awesome, Lisa. Good job! TFS, Hugs & Happy wkend sweet friend.

    My sweetest friend, if only I had words to express this card's beauty! :o) You are so masterful with papers, getting the absolute best out of every gorgeous sheet. I love the accents you cut out, turning them into featured components. The foliage is so pretty and I love all of the stitched dies! (I'm obsessed with stitched designs.)     I just noticed the MCT products that you used. They are the same ones I purchased with my G.C.
    Outrageously GORGEOUS!!! I really enjoy the distressed edges. I love the gorgeous paper and color combo too. Oh! I missed out on the MCT butterfly die! Awesome take on the sketch!

    What a beauty me friend! ofta, the papers are so pretty!! (where do you get your Prima papers) The layering looks so beautiful and love the dimension on the happy! Such beautiful details as always!
