Sparkly Happy Birthday

Happy Friday!! I hope you had a wonderful week!! It was a cold one here with wind chills in the deep negatives. Brrr...It's my turn to post on the My Craft Spot blog and I have a glittery, sparkly project to share with you with you using many My Craft Spot products :) Have you checked out the sale going on right now...there are still some amazing deals!! But hurry before they are sold out!!


This card really sparkles in person. The focal point is the chandelier image from the Prima paper, captured with the the snapshot frame from the Scraping Life Cards die set. It was cut twice...once in black for a shadow. The top layer was lightly dusted with sugar coating for some sparkle. The edges of the paper were distressed with a Zutter DIA. The butterfly was cut from the Small Alphabet die set in pink vellum. The other two butterflies on the side were cut from the same set but covered with sugar coating. The flowers next to the snapshot are Flowers Rolled Roses dies. The bigger flower on the bottom is constructed of several Flowers Daisy dies in both patterned paper and pink vellum.


Happy Birthday is a Big Words Metal Die. It was cut twice...once in black for a shadow. The top layer was coated in purple glitter. The gorgeous crinkle ribbon is my most favorite color of all...Petal Pink...isn't it beautiful?! The button is a Die-Versions Button die, covered in purple glitter.

    How brilliant to customized the button using die-cut and glittered coloured it accordingly to match the overall colour theme of the card!!! I have never thought of that even though I have a button punch! Beautiful card, Lisa!

    Reminds me of a day in Paris (which I have never been to..lol)...such a gorgeous vintage look and you are right, that ribbon is YUMMY!! The entire card is stunning...have a wonderful day and stay warm, and get the Explore fired up...looks who's talking...lol!!

    ooohhh...I love sparkly! This is just gorgeous Lisa, such amazing layers and embellishments. The distressing adds so much yummy texture and those flowers are amazing. I love everything about this gorgeous card my friend!

    This cold front has even hit way down south in my neck of the woods - low of 19 last night and that is COLD for us! Stay warm my friend!

    Lisa this absolutely gorgeous! It is frameable art if you ask me! The weather here in SoCal has just started to warm up again this week to the 70's but we don't get the cold that you do.....not even close. Everything about this card is perfection and I'm sure the recipient will treasure it! Keep warm my ever so talented and crafty friend :)

    My sweetest friend, you had me at sparkly! :o) This is truly a stunner in design and color palette. You use Prima papers so beautifully! I love how you used the Scrapping Life die to frame the chandelier. The flowers are so soft and gorgeous and I love the vellum butterflies! The sparkly Big Words greeting is exquisite and oh how I just want to fall into that fluttery bow. :o) Marvelous work as always, my dearest Lisa! This will indeed be loved by the blessed recipient.     What a beautiful and sparkly card! Holy smokes, the design is just incredible! You always pick out the perfect papers to create with...love the chandelier and the way you have it framed out just pops! I love the butterflies and flowers!
