Happy Saturday, everyone!! I hope all of my friends on the East Coast are staying safe and warm. I am praying for you. When I lived in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York, we had a blizzard one year that completely buried my vehicle...and it was a Jeep Grand Cherokee!! We lost power for days and days. I really hope it's not nearly that bad and you are all safe. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
I made a resolution to play along with Tim's Tags of 2016 and so far, so good :) I pretty much followed Tim's instructions HERE, using a few different items to give it a steampunk feel. For the embossing, I used Tim's Gears Texture Fade Embossing folder for the background. The stamp is from Tim's Mini Blueprints 3 stamp set.

Whoa, I thought I was on the wrong blog! This is fantastic. It's so different from your usual soft, sweet cards. I think it is a fun tag using Tims ideas and products. I love the silvery look of it and the added gears. Great job!

ReplyDeleteThe Adirondack's get some heavy snow storms Lisa, so not surprised to hear that your vehicle was snowed completely in! We got a good bit here, and many vehicles were completely buried in the snow! I didn't envy anyone who didn't have a garage. That's a lot of digging. Love your tag! I planned on doing all of Tim's tags this year as well...I completed them one year and then the next year only 1/2 of them...I guess I better get on it, lol.
Lisa, thought I'd give you a heads up. I cked the Tim Holtz Jan Tag post and my tag was no longer there so I reentered. This has happed with mine in other mths & others not there any more. I did not see yours there. I know the random thing makes it difficult to find entry but if you go to enter and it does not tell you that it is already there then you need to reenter because I went & reentered and it did not tell me that it was already there.
