Scrapy Land Challenge #62 - Favorite Holiday

To enter my 6th Blogaversary Giveaway, click HERE!!

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the theme this week is your Favorite Holiday Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! You could win a $15 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land :)

I have so many favorite holidays, but at the top of the list is Christmas :) So my cards celebrate the Christmas season.

I used Maja Designs paper for my cards. I was really excited to use two of my newest dies, the Frantic Stamper Evergreen Forest Edger die and the Penny Black Moose. I have a weakness for tree dies and Moose dies :)

In the back, I used a Sizzix Tim Holtz Tree Line die. The Frantic Stamper Evergreen Forest Edger die was then layered in front. Impression Obsession Snowflakes were glittered and added to the sky. The Penny Black Moose was popped up with foam tape for dimension.

A Precious Marieke Snowflake Border die was used along the bottom. The My Craft Spot (no longer in business) sentiment was stamped on a La La Land Stitched Elements tag. Tucked beneath the Wild Orchid Crafts Poinsettias are Impression Pine Springs and Impression Obsession Pine Branch dies. The gorgeous crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

Scrapy Land Dies Used:

I'm entering these in the following challenges:

1) Little Scrap Pieces Show It Off Saturday - Anything Goes
2) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes
3) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Favorite Holiday project using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

  9. Oh my gosh, Christmas cards, LOVE THEM!!! With all of the snow we are having right now, I think you have just inspired me to head to my craft room and make a Christmas card! We had a fire in the fireplace last night and I had to plug in my heated blanket... in March!! Well these are just brilliant, I have to admit that the blue really draws me in! I just love the frosty feel with the rows of trees in the background and the snowflake border across the bottom. Your poinsettias are beautiful and I love the white pine sprigs, but my favourite bit is the moose, wow, what an amazing design element! Absolutely stunning my friend!! Just a quick congratulations on your 6th blogiversary by the way. What an amazing accomplishment! Here's to many more years of inspiring all who know you and your work! sending hugs :)

I think I need to add a few more dies to my list...thanks my friend, lol! I could see a lot of uses from the moose die for sure. Such a great die to include in on some masculine cards which are always a challenge for me. Great job Lisa!!

We are having some crazy weather the past week. We had snow and really cold temps and now we are looking at temps in the 50's for the wknd! Gosh, I wish it would make up its mind. I have been hit with another bad cold, actually think its influenza. I am lucky if I have 1 cold a year and this is my 3rd one in 3 months. My hubby, who never gets sick has been home for 3 days to :( That explains why I've spent so little on the computer. I seriously need some mojo to get back in the groove again! I am hoping to go to one of my favorite craft stores next week one day so I am sure that will help jump kick me, lol!
    Have a great day!
    Hugs my friend,
    Sherrie K
