For my cards, I did a little stamping and splattering on the background layer. Sissal, burlap, fabric leaves and baby's breath were added for texture.
The leaves are Cherry Lynn Fall Leaves dies. This gorgeous ribbon is Burnt Leaf from The Fall Bundle.
The clock is a Tim Holtz die. This beautiful ribbon is Turning Leaf from The Fall Bundle.

ReplyDeleteOh wow, that burnt orange is a beautiful color for the flower and ribbon. Just gorgeous. I never thought to spray flowers or ribbon to change the colors. Great idea. Glad you are settling in and getting back in the craft mood.

I am catching up with bloggy land today.I had to take some time off to make sure that my mom and family were alright due to hurricane Maria. It was devastated not to be able to speak to her. I was able to finally speak to her and she is ok and her house is fine as well.My stepdad is wonderful in taking care of my mom and just making sure that my mom does not worry.I had to send packages of stuff especially batteries to my family & their neighbors. The roads are better,they have running/clean water, certain businesses are opened as well. They are still waiting for electricity.My mom was really worried & scared.My sister who lives near me did not take all of this well.She has health issues so she got sick.During the last 3 days she has been better. My spirit was shaken up but my prayers did not stop and as well as thanking the lord. He always kept my mom covered and he is keeping her safe. She is a lot calmer now. I might bring her over here with me and my sister just until the electricity comes back. I don't think she is going to agree but I hope so. I took some days off from work just to catch my breathe and sleep. I wasn't able to sleep for days just worrying..but did not stop praying, praising or thanking the lord. He is truly faithful....
Hopefully this weekend I will make a card and post it on my blog...

WOW, these are fantastic! I am drooling over the amazing palette in this designs! It's a brilliant mix of warm vibrant autumn colours and the cool blues of a bright cheery sky! The banner treatment is wonderful with the burlap fibres peeking out and the stitched sentiment piece on the top. Love it! Gorgeous flowers and ribbon arrangements too! A completely amazing autumn creation!
