Happy Monday - the first day of December!! Wow - how did that happen??!! This year absolutely flew by...only 25 more days until Christmas!!
I came across this SVG file and knew I had to try it. I have two Moroccan lights that I absolutely love.
The look amazing lit up at night...
So when I saw the SVG file that looked so much like them, I knew I had to have it :)
I found the file at Exquisite Paper Design's Etsy shop. You can find it HERE. She is super-nice with excellent customer service. The first file didn't work with my Explore so she sent one that did work. If you purchase the file and use an Explore, be sure to let her know. In this shot, I added a tea light but it was still daylight out so it was hard to get a good picture. I want to have an outdoor party just so I can string a bunch of these in the trees...wouldn't it look amazing??!! And to make this only took three sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 heavyweight cardstock.
Then I had a thought that the star would look awesome as a Christmas tree topper (yes, I have my tree up already ;)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1. DL.Art - December Linky
2. Decorate to Celebrate - A/G
3. Little Scrap Pieces - Show It Off Saturday
I hope you have a wonderful first week of December!! If you do some shopping on Cyber Monday...I hope you find amazing deals!! Thanks so much for stopping by :)

My sweetest friend, your luminary is exquisite! Wow! I've never seen anything like it. :o) (Your Moroccan lights are amazing too, by the way!) The design is incredible. It's a beautiful sculpture of eyelet detailing! And I fully support your desire to have an outdoor party with these as decor... as long as I'm invited. ;) It's breathtaking, Lisa. And how stunning it looks atop your precious tree! It adds so much interest, elegance, and beauty. Amazing project, my talented and sweet friend! Have a blessed and happy day. :o)

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Lisa. I love, love, love it. The file is awesome and the paper is beautiful. Looks fabulous atop the tree. So sorry I have not been by in a few weeks. I was in the hospital and sick for a week. Rested for a few days and now trying to play catch up. I'm trying to leave a comment on everyone's last post today and then over the next couple of day will visit and catch up all the post I have missed.
ReplyDeleteHave a creative day.

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice Thanksgiving to! I am feeling a bit more rested now~thank goodness! I still have so much to do with so little time, eek! Oh well...yes, we are getting things done at my daughters. They are staying with us since they shouldn't stay in the home with the fumes from poly. So, it's been very busy at my home, but all good! They should be back in their home by Sunday :) just in time for my daughter to pack up to go out of town for 2 wks for her job. I will be keeping Arya a few evenings during the week to give Daddy a break...never a dull moment in this household, lol!
