Happy Holidays for Wild Orchid Crafts

Happy Monday, everyone!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog and I'd love for you to stop by if you have time :)  I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today featuring poinsettias made with flower making foam, as well as several other products found in the Wild Orchid Crafts store.

I used Ivory Flower Making Foam to create these poinsettias, inking the bottom layer to create the leaves.

For the centers of the flowers, I used Red Bead Berry Spray Clusters and White Bead Berry Spray Clusters. Tucked among the flowers are Skeleton Leaves, White Mulberry Paper Leaves, Frosted Bead Berry Sprays and White Spiral Stamens. I also used Self-Adhesive Pearls in two sizes.

Some close-ups:

I am entering these in the following challenges:

1) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
2) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes
3) Double D Challenges - Here Comes Santa Claus

  44. WOW Lisa, just WOW!! These are absolutely delicious! The papers are wonderful, I especially love the images that you used for the tags! The fancy filigree die cut arrangement is so wonderful with the ornaments hanging down! The show stopper for me are those poinsettias, oh my gosh! They look so soft and realistic! Amazing work with the foamarian!!

I wish I had something new to report about our weather, but it's still raining here. It's too cold outside to sit outside on the patio, but not cold enough to snow. It is cold enough, however, that my squirrel bed on the patio has two tiny babies living in it. I've named the boy Zippy and the girl Dolly P, they are so freaking cute!! sending hugs :)
