For My Sweet Friend for Wild Orchid Crafts

Happy Thursday, everyone!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog and I'd love for you to stop by if you have time :) I have a couple of cards to share with you featuring several Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and embellishments.

For my friendship cards, I used papers from 49 and Market's Cottage Life collection. Our DT challenge this month was to use supplies we purchased but have neglected. I purchased the Mixed Vintage Hydrangea Blooms a while back and this is the first time I've opened the package. They were created with Double Head Pearl Stamens (my new favorite embellishment!!). I also used Cottage Roses, Lilies and Hip Rosebuds.

Tucked among the blooms are Mulberry Paper Leaves, Pearl Sprays, Crown Pins and Heart Shaped Pearl Beads. The butterflies are adorned with Self Adhesive Pearls and Double Head Pearl Stamens.

The tags pull out to reveal pretty papers.

Scrapy Land Challenge #70 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land. And...now, the theme for all challenges will be Anything Goes Plus a brand of die Scrapy Land carries...there are over 55 to choose from. If you play along, you could win one of TWO $10 gift certificates to shop at Scrapy Land!!

For my birthday cards today, I used papers from Lemoncraft. The flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART.

A Memory Box Adler Star Corner was used on the bottom layer. An Avery Elle Wonky Stitches  die was used in the center, and a Memory Box Sideshow Ticket die was adhered to the top

Two doily dies were layered: a Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily and a Prima Crochet Doily. The tag is a Sue Wilson Pierced Tags die.

It pulls out to reveal the sentiment, from My Creative Time.

Tucked among the flowers are Concord & 9th Layering Leaves, Penny Black Graceful Greenery, and Memory Box Stitched Leaves. I also used some of my latest obsession...Prills in TuTu Pink.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

1) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
