Happy Easter for Wild Orchid Crafts

Happy Sunday, everyone!! I hope you are having a wonderful first weekend of February :) It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog and I have a couple of Easter cards to share with you today featuring several flowers and embellishments found in the Wild Orchid Crafts Shop.

For my Easter cards, I used Trellis Roses, Chelsea Roses, Lilies, Sweetheart Blossoms, Daffodils, Tulips and Hip Rosebuds. The papers are from Maja Designs.

I used Mixed Paper Doilies in the background, along with Net Lace, Guipure Lace and Flat Back Pearl Trim. The frame (which is hard to see since I almost completely covered it up :) is from Memory Box.

Tucked among the flowers are Ivory Pearl Sprays, Crown Pins, Mulberry Paper Leaves and Mulberry Paper Leaves. I also added some cheesecloth.

I used Self-Adhesive Pearls in two sizes on the Spellbinders crosses. The banner is from Sue Wilson and the sentiment is from My Creative Time. Some close-ups:

Scrapy Land Challenge #46 - Emboss It

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land. The theme this week is Emboss it, either heat or dry embossing, plus a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries...there are over 40 to choose from. You could win a $15 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land!!

For my cards I used gorgeous Rose Garden papers from Craft and You. I heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiments on a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 1 die, that I cut halfway and then flipped over to get the double fishtail ends.

I added a layer of tulle between the layers. Texture paste was applied through a TCW Organic Matter stencil. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

In the top corner is a Die-Versions Whispers Valentine Lace doily die. The butterfly is an Impression Obsession Medium Butterflies die, covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice.

A Memory Box Mansfield Frame die was used in the center with the wood grain paper. Tucked among the Wild Orchid rafts flowers are Sue Wilson Mosiac Leaves dies and Elizabeth Craft Curvy Leaves dies.

DL.ART Challenge #179 - Mother's Day

Happy Thursday!! Another week is flying by and the weekend is almost upon us :) It's time for a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART and the theme this week is one of my favorites to create cards for: Mother's Day :) Use the code l01210 to get 10% off your order at DL.ART!!

For my Mother's Day cards I used papers from my favorite Lemoncraft stack, Neverending Summer. The edges were all inked with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I stitched the background paper to heavyweight cardstock and distressed the edges with a Zutter DIA.

The layers were each popped up with foam tape for dimension. A Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die peeks out from the bottom layer. The top layers are Memory Box Mansfield Frame dies. The tag is a LaLa Land Stitched Elements die. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). The gorgeous ribbon is Whipped Cream from the Creamy Dreamy Bundle.

This stunning ribbon is my favorite, Pink Champagne from the Vintage Vineyard Bundle. Tucked among the Wild Orchid Craft flowers are Elizabeth Craft Curly Leaves and Impression Obsession Pine Sprigs. The beautiful butterfly is a Memory Box Darla die covered with Sparkle N Sprinkle Crystal Ice.
