Scrapy Land Challenge #78 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and as always, the theme is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! If you play along, you could be one of two winners of a $10 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land!!

Last month, several members of the Design Team participated in a Halloween/Autumn card exchange. This is the card I sent to my dear friend and teammie, Lori :) I started with Spellbinders Grand Labels One for the base and bottom layer of the card.

The next layer is a little hard to see, but it's a Yvonne Creations Holly Jolly Frame. A Memory Box Stitched Square die was used to cut the spider web paper.

I love this witch and cauldron stamp set from Lavinia Stamps!! I embossed them in black embossing powder and then added green prills for the bubbles. The Spider is from the Impression Obsession Spider Web set, and he was also embossed in black. His glowing red eyes are Nuvo Drops. The tab at the side is a Spellbinders Address Book Die, with a My Creative Time sentiment.

The tree is an Impression Obsession Wide Tree die. Perched among the branches is an owl from the Die-Versions Spooky House die, covered with copper embossing powder.

The fence is an Memory Box Rounded Fence die. The kitty cat climbing along the sign, as well as the bats that are flying around, are from the Impression Obsession Halloween Hill die.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked under are Sue Wilson Mosaic Leaves and Paper Smooches Foliage 2 dies. The ribbon is from DL.ART.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday #202 - Mother's Day

Happy Thursday!! It's time for a new Thankful Thursday challenge at DL.ART. The theme for this challenge is Mother's Day. If you use the code l01210, Diana will give you 10% off your purchase at DL.ART.

I used papers from Craft & You for my Mother's Day cards.

In the center of the cards, I used Gina Marie Big and Little Pierced Oval dies, the top layer popped up with foam tape.

The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Tucked beneath are Sue Wilson Mosaic Leaves dies. This gorgeous crinkle ribbon is Rose' from the Vintage Vineyard Bundle.

Happy is a My Creative Time die, as is the sentiment, stamped on a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklet die. The fence is a Memory Box Rounded Fence die. This crinkle ribbon is my favorite: Pink Champagne from the Vintage Vineyard Bundle. Some close ups:

Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #21 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday and happy first day of July!! Wow, this year is speeding by...Christmas will be here before we know it!! It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land and it's everyone's favorite - Anything Goes using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries (there are over 40 to choose from!!)

I created two summer-inspired cards using papers from Prima's Bella Rouge stack, the edges distressed with a Zutter DIA. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The design is the same for both cards. I used a stitched scalloped border die from the Spellbinders Curved Border die set to divide the paper. The birdhouse and vine are from Frantic Stamper's Garden Birdhouse set. The fence, which I curved around the post, is a Memory Box Rounded Fence die. The birds are Memory Box Resting Birds dies, and they were covered in sugar coating.

Beneath the flowers are Memory Box Botanical Stems and Memory Box Chloe Stems. The sentiment banner is a Taylored Expressions Stacked Banner Stacklets 1 die. And on the inside, I used a Memory Box Stitched Square die.
