A Season of Cheer for Sparkle N Sprinkle

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! It's my turn to post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog and I have a couple of Christmas cards to share with you today featuring the new Happy Holidays stamp set.

For these cards, I started by adhering Tear-ific Tape ½” to heavyweight cardstock and then heat embossing it with Japanese Lacquer embossing powder.

For my winter-themed card, I used Elizabeth Craft Skis die for the mountains. I applied Super-Adhesive Sheets to cardstock and cut the mountains, and then covered them with Diamond Dust glitter for amazing sparkle.

Here's a close-up of the gorgeous Diamond Dust. The trees are a Tim Holtz Tree Line die, also covered with Super-Adhesive Sheets and then covered with Victorian Christmas glitter. The snowflakes are Impression Obsession dies, and they were brushed with Brushable Glue and then covered with Sparkly Snow glitter. A drop of Nuvo Crystal Drops Red Berry was used in the center of the snowflake.

The gorgeous sentiment was stamped with a Tim Holtz Stamp Platform with Versamark Embossing Ink Pad and then embossed with Winter Berry embossing powder. It was then cut out with a Tonic Mixed Edge Oval die.

The flowers were made with foamiran from Wild Orchid Crafts and shaped with Tonic Floral Crafters Tool. The ribbon is from DL.ART.

To create the red berries, I used beads and hot-glued them to the posts. Once they dried, I snipped off the tops and then dipped them into Brushable Glue.

I then covered them with Gypsy Red glitter and popped them into Styrofoam to dry.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Poinsettia Christmas Tree for Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello, everyone and happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts Blog and I'd love for you to stop by if you have time :) Today, I'm sharing a Christmas project with you featuring products found in the Wild Orchid Crafts store.

I picked up a paper mache cone from Hobby Lobby for the base of the tree. I painted it white and then covered it with cheesecloth. Next, I covered it with poinsettias created with Ivory Flower Making Foam.

I love making these flowers!! I decided to leave the natural Ivory color and just ink the bottom layer with Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the leaves. I used a combination of White Double Head Pearl Stamens and Small White Double Head Pearl Stamens.

And here it is all it up :)
