DL.ART Thankful Thursday #165 - Fall

To enter my blog candy giveaway, click HERE!!

Happy Thursday!! I leave tomorrow for a two-week vacation (the ocean!! Yay!!) so I won't be around to visit you for a while. I have several DT posts scheduled so I hope you will stop by to visit while I'm gone. I'll be by to visit you when I get back :) It's time for a Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART. The theme this week is Fall. Use the code l01210 to receive 10% off your order!!

For the base of these cards, I used papers from DCWV. The top layer is Ranger Specialty Stamping paper. It was stamped with a Darkroom Door text stamp and then heat embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle White embossing powder. It was then inked with Tim Holtz Distress inks in Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon and Spiced Marmalade. The edges were then inked with Walnut.

The tree is from Marianne Designs and it was adhered to a piece of clear plastic so that I could add a shaker behind. The gorgeous crinkle ribbon is St. Tropez Gold from the Tropical Summer bundle. The button is from Poppystamps and the twine is from the DL.ART Shop. The banner is from LaLa Crafts and the sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas Hey Pumpkin stamp set.

This beautiful ribbon is RAO Red from the Newspaper Bundle. This sentiment is also from CDD's Hey Pumpkin stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

Happy Halloween Skeleton

Happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a card to share with you using one of the Halloween dies from the August Release. Don't forget to use the code lisa15 to receive 15% off your Die-Versions regular-price order!!

This is not my usual style at all...no flowers, gems or lots of layers :) But I wanted to showcase the adorable new Whispers Skeleton die. Isn't he fun??!! I taped off a section of the paper and then inked it with Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade and Black Soot. The bottom layer of paper was inked with Spiced Marmalade. The stamp is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).

Don't forget - lisa15 to save 15% off your Die-Versions order!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #26 - Add an Image

To enter my blog candy giveaway, click HERE!!

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a fabulous week!! It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land. The theme this week is "Add an Image" - it can be either stamped or a digi - plus a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries.

For my cards, I broke out my Prima doll stamps to go along with the Prima papers I used. A text was stamped over the dies and then they were fussy cut and their dresses were paper-pieced. I cut the skirt and popped up every other piece to add dimension.

It's kind hard to see in the picture, but I used my new Cherry Lynn Burlap Border die for the flowers to cling to. Also tucked among the blooms are Memory Box Chloe Stems and Memory Box Botanical Stem dies.

A Die-Versions Whispers Ring of Hearts die was used behind the dolls, and a Die-Versions Wee-Petite Button die was used on the ribbon. The sentiment was stamped on a LaLa Land Stitched Elements die.

I am entering these in the following challenges:

1) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Die Crazy
2) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
3) Crop Stop Blog #8 - Anything Goes
4) Little Scrap Pieces - Show it Off Saturday
5) 2 Creative Chicks Showcase #2 - Anything Goes
6) City Crafter Challenge Blog - In Pieces

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your project using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Tim's 12 Tags of 2015 - September

To enter my Fuse Tool Giveaway, click HERE

Happy Monday!! Wow, I can't believe how fast the weekends fly by. I was able to sneak into my craft room and create a tag to play along with Tim's 12 Tags of 2015 challenge.

I pretty much followed Tim's instructions HERE. I did have to modify them in some places. I didn't have the butterfly set Tim used, so I used the butterflies from Tim's Papillion set, masking off the second one in line. I didn't have the stencil he used, so I used his Doily stencil. Instead of the Idea-ology Frosted sheets, I used Wendy Vecchi Clearly For Art, which I've had for a while but have never used. It's so fun...you just heat it up and you can bend and shape it any way you want. If you don't like how it looks, you just have to reheat it and try again :)

I am linking this up with the following challenges:

1) Tim's 12 Tags of 2015 - September
2) Darnell's NBUS #5 (my 3rd and final entry) - NBUS is the Clearly For Art

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)
