Die-Versions Blog Post ~ Celebrate

Happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring several Die-Versions dies.

I chose beautiful Maja Designs Summer Crush papers for these cards. I used a Whispers Diamonds Background die and cut it in half. A Whispers Lacey Dots die was tucked under the edge. I used the two largest sizes of the Whispers Stitched Nesting Squares dies to frame the beautiful image from the Maja papers. I chose flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts to compliment the flowers in the picture.

A Whispers Ring of Hearts die was added behind the image. For the sentiment, I used a Sweet Wordlet Celebrate die. The beautiful crinkle ribbons are from DL.ART.

To show you the versatility of Die-Versions dies, I used a Whispers Nesting Flowers die and cut it into fourths to make the leaves.

I actually made these cards months ago but haven't had a chance to post them yet. I know the papers are Prima but I'm not sure which stack I used.

I started by stitching the bottom layer to the heavyweight white cardstock. A Whispers Loopy Lace die (not currently in stock) was tucked under the first torn layer, along with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The doily is a Whispers Ring of Hearts die. The button on the ribbon is a Wee Petites Button die (not currently in stock). The sentiment is a Compliments Everyday Love die. I cut it twice for a shadow effect.

The butterfly is a Whispers Pretty Wings die it was cut three times for dimension. The sentiment is a Celebrate Sweet Wordlet die.

Hearts in Heart Shaker Card

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog today, and I have a couple of cards to share with you using several Die-Versions dies.

The beautiful papers are from Craft and You Designs (from Poland). When I first saw the Whispers Hearts in Heart die, I thought it would make a beautiful shaker element on a card, so I turned it into one using chunky iridescent glitter. I added a smaller Wee Petites Heart Doodle covered in glitter to the top.

A Whispers Ring of Hearts die and a Whispers Stitched Nesting Circles die were added behind the heart, as was a Whispers Heart Border die. The beautiful ribbons are from DL.ART.

A Sweet Wordlet Happy and Sweet Wordlet Birthday die was used for this sentiment for this card.

A Sweet Wordlet Happy and Sweet Worldet Mother's Day was used for this one.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll come back tomorrow...I have some exciting news to share with you!! Have a great day :)

I could not wait to use the gorgeous new Orange Green Hue ribbon from Mermaid's Tale Third Edition!! How unique and beautiful!! I created the card around it, choosing papers from Lemoncraft and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts to match.

For this one, I used my favorite ribbon, Sweet Love from the Valentine Bundle. I cut a Die-Versions Ring of Hearts doily in half and used for the base of the flowers. Memory Box Chloe Stems and Botanical Stems were added among the flowers.

The banners are from Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets 1 die set. The sentiment is from My Creative Time. The butterflies are from Impression Obsession.

Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #26 - Add an Image

To enter my blog candy giveaway, click HERE!!

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a fabulous week!! It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land. The theme this week is "Add an Image" - it can be either stamped or a digi - plus a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries.

For my cards, I broke out my Prima doll stamps to go along with the Prima papers I used. A text was stamped over the dies and then they were fussy cut and their dresses were paper-pieced. I cut the skirt and popped up every other piece to add dimension.

It's kind hard to see in the picture, but I used my new Cherry Lynn Burlap Border die for the flowers to cling to. Also tucked among the blooms are Memory Box Chloe Stems and Memory Box Botanical Stem dies.

A Die-Versions Whispers Ring of Hearts die was used behind the dolls, and a Die-Versions Wee-Petite Button die was used on the ribbon. The sentiment was stamped on a LaLa Land Stitched Elements die.

I am entering these in the following challenges:

DL.ART September Linky

Happy Tuesday and first day of September!! Wow...where has the summer gone?? I'm so excited and honored to announce that I am a member of Diana's brand new Design Team at DL.ART!! Diana is one of my oldest and dearest blog friends and I'm so happy to be a part of her new venture!! Have you seen her crinkle ribbon?? Swoon!!

I am featuring two of her new colors: Blue Hue Tail (LOVE!!) from Mermaid's Tale Second Edition and Rose' from Vintage Vineyard. Most of you know how I have a slight...okay, major crinkle ribbon obsession!! Diana's ribbons are absolutely gorgeous!!

Both of these cards were made pretty much the same, with different colors. The papers are from Prima and the edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA. The top layer was cut with a Spellbinders Curved Borders 1 die.

A Die-Versions Whispers Ring of Hearts die was added next, followed by a Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three die. The sentiments are from My Craft Spot's Deepest Sympathy stamp set.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Memory Box Chloe Stems were added, along with some baby's breath. The bottom butterfly is from Memory Box and the top is from Impression Obsession. This is the Rose' Crinkle Ribbon from Vintage Vinyard. The button is from PoppyStamps and I used some of Diana's Pink Twine.

This is the gorgeous Blue Hue Tail From Mermaid's Tale. I also used some of her Blue Twine on this one.

Wishing You Happiness

Happy Tuesday!! I hope all of my US friends had a safe and happy Memorial Day!! Wow, can you believe it's almost June??!! The year is half over and I don't know where the first half went!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today using the new Whispers Vintage Sign from the May Release :)

I wanted these cards to look like the vintage signs were hanging in a flower garden. I used a combination of several Die-Versions dies. The papers are from Prima's Nature's Garden stack and the edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

For the backgrounds, I used my all-time favorite Whispers Bricks Background die. Seriously, I love this die so much...it's definitely one of my most-used dies. Beneath the cluster of flowers is a Whispers Ring of Hearts die.

The Vintage Sign was popped up with foam tape. The dragonfly is a Wee Petites Buggy die. It was cut twice, with the top layer covered with sugar coating. A Whispers Butterfly Garden die was added along the bottom. The butterflies were fussy-cut and covered with sugar coating.

Happy Birthday

Happy Wednesday!! I hope are having a wonderful last week of February - how is that possible??!! My gosh, this year is flying by. As you can tell, I still can't find the time to craft. There just aren't enough hours in the day. I don't know how those of you that post every day do it. And there is just no way I can keep up with Facebook either and I'm sorry about that. I'm barely keeping up with commenting. But, it's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have some birthday cards to share with you today :)

These cards are all similiar...I just used different papers from The Paper Studio's Mirabella stack.

A Die-Versions Whispers Ring of Hearts die was used as the centerpiece of the cards.

Happy and Birthday are both DV Sweet Wordlets Dies. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. DV Wee Petites Button dies were used in the center of the bows.

A Whispers Party Hat die was adhered to a sheet of double-sided adhesive and then the covered with Sugar Coating. Shell pink skittles from Carri at Doubleclick AKA Abusybee were added to the bottom left corner.
