Happy Birthday

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of birthday cards to share with you featuring several Die-Versions dies.

I started with papers from Craft and You's Wedding Garden stack. The doily at the top of the card is a Whispers Ring of Hearts die. I used a Whispers Stitched Nesting Squares die to cut the hole and create the frame.

A Whispers Fence Background was used in the opening. The sentiment is a Whispers Sweet Wordlet Celebrate die. The crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

A Whispers Happy Sweet Wordlet and Whispers Birthday Sweet Wordlet were used on the bottom of the card.

Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #29 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful first week of November!! It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land and it's everyone's favorite - Anything Goes using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries...there are over 40 brands to choose from.


 For these cards, I used papers from Prima. The edges were distressed with a Zutter DIA.

A Spellbinders Curved Borders One die was used on the top layer of paper. A La-La Land Diamond Wire was used in the background. Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangles and Classic Rectangles dies were used to frame the picture. The banner is a La-La Land Stitched Elements die. Birthday is a Die-Versions Sweet Wordlet Birthday die.

The butterflies are Impression Obsession Butterfly Set dies, all covered in sugar coating. The leaves are Memory Box Botanical Stem dies. Celebrate is a Die-Versions Sweet Wordlet Celebrate die. The button on the ribbon is a Poppystamps Stitched Button die.

Sail Away With Me Nautical Cards

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the last weekend in July!! Ugh - almost August already. It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have some nautical-themed cards to share with you today featuring dies from the June release :)

I used papers from Graphic 45's By The Sea collection. A Sweet Wordlet Happy and Sweet Wordlet Birthday were used for the sentiment. A Whispers Life Preserver Border was used along the bottom, with steel brads used to anchor them to the paper.

A Whispers Message in a Bottle die was inked Salty Ocean with a touch of Mowed Grass Distress Inks for a sea glass look and then covered with crackle medium. Once it dried, Walnut Distress Ink was used to highlight the cracks. The stopper was cut from cork paper. The message was cut with parchment paper that was crumpled and then inked for some texture. 

This card used all of the same dies: Sweet Wordlet Happy, Sweet Wordlet Birthday, Whispers Life Preserver Border and Whispers Message in a Bottle.

This one uses the same Whispers Life Preserver Border and Whispers Message in a Bottle, but the sentiment is from the Sail Away Stamp Set.

Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #18 - Birthdays/Celebrations

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land!! The theme this week is Birthdays/Celebrations, plus a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries...there are over 40 brands to choose from!!

I used Prima papers for these cards. A Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 was used for the pockets. A LaLa Land Stitched Scallop die was used along the opening. Die-Versions Wee Petites Button Dies were used to hold the scallop dies in place. Celebrate is a Die-Versions Sweet Wordlet die, and it's placed on a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklet die.

The tag is a Spellbinders Tags and Flags die. The butterfly is a Memory Box Isabella die, covered in sugar coating. Happy is a Die-Versions Sweet Wordlet die, as is Birthday. Memory Box Botanical Stems were tucked among the flowers.

 
A A Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 was was used for the inside, as was a Memory Box Isabella die.

Vintage Corset Cards and WINNER!!

Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!! I have a winner to announce for the Die-Versions Star Border Punch die, but first...it's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a project to share with you using one of the fabulous new dies from the May 2015 release.

For these cards, I'm using the gorgeous Whispers Vintage Corset die. Isn't it fabulous??!! All of the dies from this vintage/steampunk release are awesome!!

I cut the Vintage Corset twice and added iridescent vellum between the top layer and tulle between the bottom. Tiny crystal gems act as the buttons.

A Whispers Loopy Lace die was added along the bottom. Celebrate is a Sweet Wordlet die.

Happy and Birthday are also Sweet Wordlet dies. A Wee Petites Button die was used on the bow.
