Celebrating 8 Years with Carson's Creations

Hello, everyone and happy Saturday!! Today we are celebrating Carson's Creations 8 year blogaversary!! Georgiana has been creating amazing and inspiring projects for eight years and we've been blog buddies almost that long!! I'm so excited to be sharing this celebration with her today :)

My Project!!

Since this blog hop is about a celebration, I chose to celebrate the arrival of summer, my favorite season, later this month :)

The papers for these cards are from Lemoncraft's Everyday Spring collection, which you can find in my Etsy store HERE.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. Tucked under the flowers are Memory Box Chloe Stems, LaLa Land Open Leaf Fourish, Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage dies. Prills were added for texture.

A Memory Box Stitched Circle was layered over a Sue Wilson Flora die. Hello is a Penny Black Doodles die.

Scrapy Land Challenge #73 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and as always, our theme is Anything Goes Plus a Brand of Die Scrapy Land Carries...there are over 55 to choose from!! Play along and you could be one of two winners!!

For my cards, I used papers from 49 and Market's Sand and Sea collection.

I used my favorite Tattered Lace Little Mermaid for these cards. Her tail was cut in sparkly paper, but it's hard to tell in the pictures.

The seaweed and coral are a combination of dies from Little B Mermaids and Little B Sealife sets, topped by a Impression Obsession Salt Life die.

Tucked under the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are Concord & 9th Layering Leaves, LaLaLand Open Leaf Flourish and Elizabeth Craft Leafy Branch 3. The banner is from Spellbinders Nautical Frame and Accents. The sentiment is from Ellen Hutson's Mermaid set.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #186 - Vacation

For my project, I created cards celebrating my favorite type of vacation - a tropical one :) I've been trying to use up papers in stash and I came across this pack from Recollections.

I love how colorful these papers are!! Some of the pages have a shimmer to them, too.

The surfboards are from My Creative Time, as is the sentiment. The banner is a Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die. This gorgeous crinkle ribbon is Peach from the 2016 Spring Bundle.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The leaves are LaLa Land Open Leaf Flourish dies and Kaiser Craft Tropical Leaves. This beautiful crinkle ribbon is Rose from the Vintage Vineyard Bundle.
