My Friend

Happy Thursday, everyone!! I hope you are having a great week!! I have a card to enter into my dear friend Diana's Blogaversary Challenge at DL.ART! For the challenge, you were supposed to find four words from the participants in her hop and incorporate them into the project.
The paper is from K & Company and I embossed the green background paper with a Cuttlebug folder (I can't remember the name of this one). I sanded the embossing and then lightly inked it with Walnut Distress Ink to bring out the texture. I inked all the edges of the card with the Walnut ink as well.

I know I just used the Tim Holtz clock in my last project, but I absolutely love it and besides, I was trying to get creative with the number one ;) The flower is a Spellbinders Sprial Blossom One die, and I cut it out in eco-friendly felt. The felt was white, so I inked it with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink to give it a nice pink hue. The background leaves are from a Tim Holtz die. The awesome crinkle ribbon, which I absolutely love, is from my sweet friend Karen of Little Scrap Pieces!! The stamp is from K Andrew Designs Amazing You stamp set!
Click HERE to see her entire line of stamps - including the new Valentine stamps available for pre-order!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and Happy Blogaversary, Diana!!

Oh Lisa, this is stunning! You know, I sit here and just don't know what to say. The soft colors are exquisite, the felt rose is fabulous, and the sparkly clock hands make my heart tick! (Hehe! Get it?! I couldn't resist.) The embossed patterned paper is lovely, as is the bottom one. I don't blame you for using a favorite element again so quickly.. it's perfect for this card. Beautiful work as always, my sweet friend! You are so inspiring. :o)

Hugs and blessings!
