Paper Playtime Challenge #78 - Red, White and Blue!!

Happy Monday, everyone!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means it's time for another super-fun challenge at Paper Playtime!! The theme of Challenge #78 is Red, White and Blue, plus add a die cut. It doesn't have to be patriotic but it can be :)

Our sponsor this challenge is Ginger Snap Scraps with a $10 gift card - open worldwide!! Anyone who enters can win no matter where in the universe you live!!

The base of this card is a Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Square, followed by a Grand Square. The red layer is a Spellbinders Postage Stamp die, embossed with the Cuttlebug Stars folder. I used a white gelly roll pen for the faux stitching.

It little boy on the rocket is from A Child's Year. The stars around the edges are from George and Basic Shapes.

The tag is a Spellbinders Pennant die. The red stars and "Horray for the Red, White and Blue" are from K Andrew Designs Sweet July stamp set:

Click HERE to purchase your own set!!

I am entering the card in the following challeges:
  1. IBSIC #15 - Inspiration Photo: Red, White and Blue
  2. Jaihart - Sundays Are Lovely #11
  3. Jessica's Craft Shaque - 500 Follower Giveaway: 4th of July
  4. Little Scrap Pieces - Use a Star
  5. My Sheri Crafts Challenge #88 - Oh, I Love America
Now it's your turn...head on over to Paper Playtime to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenges!! Then link up your Red, White and Blue project!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Love the card - grea for a childs birthday. Red/White and Blue is certainly popular this year both in US and UK as we have had more patriotic type celebrations this year too with the queens jubilee and the olympics + in our house it is the colour of my sons' fave football team

And I of course ABSOLUTELY love this. I love to see all the extra special details you add.

Now as I am working on something, I am always looking to see what I can add to give it just that little extra touch.. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent..

I love how you embossed the stars onto postage stamp layer, it looks like it would have been to big to go through the cuttlebug. And the twine sticking out of the corners.. So very creative.. Hugs
