Decorate to Celebrate #68 - Valentine Boxes or Birthday

Happy Wednesday!! I am scheduling this post on Tuesday since we are supposed to be hit with a winter storm. They have warned of the possibility of downed power lines from the accumulation of ice. Oh joy. Will this winter never end??!! It's time for another challenge at Decorate to Celebrate. The theme this week is Valentine Boxes or you can link up a Birthday Party project. Also, we have a special prize of a big box of Valentine goodies...but you must link up your project before February 10th to be eligible to win. Visit the DTC blog for all the details.

For my Valentine treat boxes, I used a Sizzix Milk Carton die to cut the boxes. The paper is from DCWV's Be Mine stack...it's an oldie but a goodie :) I cut a heart from the paper to add to the box on the right with some foam tape for dimension.

The tags are Spellbinders Charmed I'm Sure dies. The sentiments are from My Craft Spot...Sweet Treats is from Tiny Tags 3 and Love U is from Tiny Tags 2.

I am entering them in the following challenges:

1.  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Have a Heart
2.  Every Day is an Occasion - February Linky

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Decorate to Celebrate to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Valentine Boxes or Birthday project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

Hope your storm passes quickly....I am with you, when will this craziness end! For us, it has been all about COLD this winter. We have snow but it was back in Dec not much since then just cold. We are suppose to leave next week for our snowmobile trip up north for 5 days and I would love to change plans and take of to AZ but my hubby is SO looking forward to the snowmobile trip :( Finger crossed for warmer weather next wk!
Have a great day my friend!

Two very cute & sparkly treat boxes. That is a great die for this, I'll bet. Hope you folks didn't lose power. I'm hearing that so many in Pennsylvania did. The dentist trip wasn't too bad...no root canal. thankfully. But 2 crowns, top & bottom - left jaw. Sat with my jaw open for over 2 hrs, so not feeling super great with sore jaw tonight. Hard to eat some supper! (But I'm managing!) Ya'll stay warm, and TFS

Milk cartons are a fun treat box since you don't know what might be inside. Pretty colors. I went to my first photography class last night. Haven't learned anything yet since it was all about introductions, but hopefully next week I will.
