My Craft Spot Sneak Peeks!!

Happy Saturday, everyone!! I'm so excited for the My Craft Spot release in two days!! The new stamps are so amazing!! I absolutely love each new set!! Here are a few sneaks from the design team to whet your appetite :)

I hope to see you back here on Monday for Day 1 of the reveal!!

Also, I want to thank all of you who have commented or emailed me regarding my desire to purchase an SVG cutting machine. I can't believe it, but I'm leaning towards a Cricut Explore. I really thought I was done with Cricut. I sold all of my cartridges, but I did keep my Gypsy. I've been doing research and almost every side-by-side comparison I've read favors the Explore, especially since they've added the Print and Cut feature. I do like that I would still be able to use the cartridges that I paid so much for, but I don't like that you have to use it with a computer. My computer is upstairs and my craft room is downstairs. The Explore does have an iPad app, which would be much easier than trying to lug my laptop down every time I wanted to cut with it.

If you have an Explore, I'd love to hear your opinion. If you have both, I'd love to know which you prefer.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great weekend :)

  1. Well, well aren't we being sneaky..lol...they all look intriguing and can't wait to see the real thing!!! I had 2 Cricuts and a Gypsy before I bought my Explore (well I still do have them and plan on keeping them, I am a craft hoarder, didn't you know..lol)....I was going to buy the Silhouette myself, and next thing I knew I was online at Joann's and they had the Explore for $229 and free shipping, somehow it ended up in my cart! I am still learning it, and since I don't own the other I can't compare, I do know someone that is going to sell there just purchased last year and used once Silhouette and going for he Explore. The one thing I did learn is, there is so many images available for subscribing each month, it is more then I will ever need/use in a lifetime.....just make sure you get what "you" want, I would hate for you to buy one or the other and then not like it!!

  2. Oh Lisa, each one looks positively yummy so far! I can't wait to see your total reveal! It sounds like you have done a lot of research and dedication to the cutting machines - I just have the very first (prehistoric!) Cricut and haven't used it in ages! I hope the one that is meant to be yours is found soon! Have a fabulous weekend! ♥

  5. Happy Saturday, Lisa. Look forward to seeing what you have created. Can't give you any opinions on the Cricut Explore. I have a Silhouette and the original Cricut. Hate to say it, but I use my Silhouette a lot more!

  6. Happy Saturday my friend! Love all the peeks and can't wait til the release! I see you have been doing a lot of research regarding the Silhouette and Explore. I have the Silhouette and have to say I love it! I think it is easy to use, user friendly and easy to navigate around. I also have the subscription which allows you 25.00 a month in free files...which is plenty! I haven't read up on the Explore much so I can't really compare BUT I am happy with my Silhouette :) Good luck in whatever decision you make~I I am sure you will be happy with either one.

Trying to get back into a routine after being gone and I think I need a vacation from my vacation already, lol!! I had a bridal shower to help with today for my Daughter's best friend who is getting married in a couple weeks. I ended up making some party favors, cake pops and some decorations so the past few days that is what I have been doing~We also have a wedding for my niece next wknd which is out of town and then Arya's birthday party the following. I swear this is how my whole summer has been.... One thing after another, lol! It all good but just constantly busy it seems.
Have a great day my friend and hope you are enjoying your wknd. Hugs!

  9. Fun sneaks, looking forward to another fun release! I'm also hoping to get the Explore real soon. I have so much money invested in Cricut cartridge, the Explore so it's the only way to go for me. There are a couple of great Explore groups on FB, message me if you want more info on the groups.
