Celebrate Father's Day

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn again to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today using one of the awesome new dies from the May 2015 release.

I don't create many masculine cards, so I was so excited to see the new Whispers Vintage Motorcycle die from the latest release!! It's perfect for a masculine birthday card or for Father's Day...so I've made one of each.

A Whispers Circles Background was used for the base. The Vintage Motorcycle was cut in silver foil so that it would shine :)

Happy Birthday is a Corner Concepts die. The star is a Wee Petites Super Stars die.

For this card, the Whispers Circles Background was cut in silver foil. Celebrate is an Express Banner die.The two star bursts and the stars along the top are Wee Petites Super Stars dies.

A Sweet Spots Angel Wing Scalloped Circle was used for the sentiment, which was created with the A Little Mint Font set.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1. DL.Art - May Linky

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a fabulous week :)

Gracious, what a perfect motif for a special Dad who has bike interests. These 2 cards are just superlative use of the die. At first I thought #1 had the bike inlaid with the cover plate die. That is one spectacularly intricate die...Loved both the versions you've shared using this new die. Well done on design & the colors were very 'guy' as well. Every fella is going to like gray & silver! TFS & Hope you're set for a great week. Hugs

My sweetest friend, these are perfect masculine cards! You seriously couldn't have chosen a more perfect background for the vintage motorcycle die. Not only is it ideal theme-wise, but the hardest part of masculine cards is the (lack of) embellishments... and this die leaves nothing else necessary. :o) Brilliant idea, my dear friend. I love the sentiments and your use of shininess, too! Fabulous as always, Lisa! Have a sparkly day. :o)

Hugs and blessings,
Karen

Now this would get the engines going! I think it's so cool how you're able to still incorporate your classic lacy die designs and still somehow manage to make them look masculine. You're amazing!
