Scrapy Land Challenge #23 - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday :) I hope you are having a fabulous start to August!! It's time for another fun challenge at Scrapy Land and it's everyone's favorite: Anything Goes using a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries (there are over 40 brands to choose from!!) You could win a $15 gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land!!

I just got a batch of new dies from SL and I couldn't wait to use them :)

I started with the new Elizabeth Crafts Bricks Background die. I used my new favorite technique to add dimension, craft foam. Thanks to my sweet design team sister Anne for introducing this method to me...I love it!! I cut the bricks first with the foam and then in cardstock. The bricks are covered with a Spellbinders D-Lites Ivy die. The sentiment is from Kaisercraft's Script Word Die...

...as is the sentiment on this one. The birdhouse, birdbath, birds and grass are from Elizabeth Crafts Design's Susan's Garden Woods 2 die set. The butterflies are from Die-Versions Garden Gazebo die set.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1) DL.ART - August Linky
2) Little Scrap Pieces - Show it Off Sunday

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your project using a brand of die that Scrapy Land  carries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

  23. My sweetest friend, these are gorgeous! The brick die atop the brick background is especially stunning... the visual packs quite a punch. :o) I love the foam idea, especially for cuts like this where it would take ten years to cut tiny strips of foam tape! The ivy is gorgeous and I am so enamored with the butterfly and sweet birdies fluttering about! The birdhouse and bird bath are stunning. I always love how you put together scenes.. you are amazing, my talented friend! Have a sparkly day. :o)
