Scrapy Land Blog Challenge #36 - Tie One On

Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! I'm in the midst of a huge craft room overhaul, so I'm sorry I haven't been around much. It's time for a new challenge at Scrapy Land. The theme this week is Tie One On PLUS a brand of die that Scrapy Land carries...there are over 40 to choose from. You could win a gift certificate to shop at Scrapy Land!!

I'm tired of winter...I'm ready for spring, so I went colorful for these cards :) The papers are from Prima.

After I distressed the edges of the paper and stitched it to the base, I used a Memory Box Orbit Circle die. The flowers were placed on top. Tucked among the leaves are Memory Box Chloe Stems and Memory Box Botanical Stems.

The butterfly is an Impression Obsession Butterfly die. The banner is a Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklet One die. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business). The beautiful crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART.

4. Little Scrap Pieces Show It Off Saturday - Anything Goes
5. My Sheri Crafts - Bold Color
6. Doubleclick Skittles Challenge - Birthday

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team sisters have created for today's challenge!! Then link up your Tie One On project using a brand of die that Scrapy Land arries!! I can't wait to see what you create :)

Lovely blooms, the colours are gorgeous, just like the plum blossom flowers which can be seen in most houses here in Malaysia as the Chinese community is celebrating spring festival or Chinese New Year. Sorry not been dropping by lately, as I'd been busy with cookies baking, spring cleaning and going back hometown to celebrate the Chinese New Year which falls on 8th-22nd February.
Warmnest wishes,
Heaney

I am tired of winter too Lisa, so I am loving your spring cards! The dies you used are fabulous and of course those flowers are doing their job of brightening up a dull dreary winter. Gorgeous is what your cards are! A overhaul in the crafty room sounds like a lot of work, but will be well worth it in the long run. Hugs, Brenda

I hope your craft room overhaul is going well~it takes a lot of time and thought to have everything organized! It took me forever to go through my paper~ I even threw a lot a way because at the end of it, I was just plain tire of sorting, lol!
Can't wait to see pics! Have a super day! It's actually pretty nice here~creeping up in to the 20's, lol!
