Die-Versions Blog Post ~ Celebrate

Happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a couple of cards to share with you today featuring several Die-Versions dies.

I chose beautiful Maja Designs Summer Crush papers for these cards. I used a Whispers Diamonds Background die and cut it in half. A Whispers Lacey Dots die was tucked under the edge. I used the two largest sizes of the Whispers Stitched Nesting Squares dies to frame the beautiful image from the Maja papers. I chose flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts to compliment the flowers in the picture.

A Whispers Ring of Hearts die was added behind the image. For the sentiment, I used a Sweet Wordlet Celebrate die. The beautiful crinkle ribbons are from DL.ART.

To show you the versatility of Die-Versions dies, I used a Whispers Nesting Flowers die and cut it into fourths to make the leaves.

Wow Lisa, another breathtaking set of cards. I just love these images you chose, the bike and the lady with the hat, so vintage and summery!! Beautiful colours, I love that you added just a touch of soft blue to the one with the lady image. Very creative idea to make leaves, hmmmm, I think I have a couple of dies that would work for something like this! Shabby-licious my friend, I am always inspired with new ideas whenever I visit your blog. Hope you had a great weekend, happy Tuesday to you. sending hugs :)

WOW! You are so innovative with your dies Lisa! I wish I had your kind of creativity! Such a talent to 'think outside the box', and use things in a different way! Now, I will want those dies, wait for them to come back into stock, finally get them, and promptly realise . . . I have forgotten why I wanted them, because I could never come up with the idea of cutting them up by myself! Have a wonderful day sweet friend! Hazel xx

My sweetest friend, your cards are breathtakingly beautiful! You have used the dies and Maja papers to complete perfection. The images you chose to showcase are so pretty and I love the colorful flowers you used to frame them. The texture throughout is just so gorgeous and I love the versatility of the dies. You always find every beautiful way possible to use dies. The cascading ribbon is always one of my favorite details, as you well know.. I just want to frolic through it right up into the blossoming frame. :o) Lovely work, my dearest Lisa! Have a sparkly happy night. :o)

Hugs and blessings,
Karen
