Scrapping4fun Challenges Guest Designer

Happy Thursday evening, everyone!! I hope all my friends in the USA had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration today!! I'm so excited to be a guest designer again at Scrappin4Fun Challenges!! The theme this week is Christmas :)

For my Christmas cards, I started with papers from Maja Designs. A Tim Holtz Treeline die was cut in heavyweight cardstock and added to the background.

Tucked in front of the tree line are small poinsettias and white stamens from Wild Orchid Crafts. The large poinsettia is also from WOC and in the center, a WOC fabric baby's breath flower was added.

Sparkly mesh was added to the bottom of the card, along with lace from my stash. Happy Christmas is a Sue Wilson Designs Die. It was cut with the Maja papers and also foam for dimension.

Tucked beneath the flowers are Impression Obsession Pine Branches and IO Pine Sprigs, and Memory Box Holly Jolly Branches along with sisal. The beautiful ribbon is White as Snow from The Christmas Bundle at DL.ART. A DecoArt Snow Writer gave the card a frosty glow.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Christmas To Die For

Thanks to Rachelle and the talented Scrapping4fun design team for having me as a guest designer this week!! And thank you for stopping by!!

Melt my heart, Lisa-Beesa! It's not even 9:30AM here, and already a balmy 70 - with the windows and doors wide open to hear the water feature in our pool, and birds singing happily. Sunny and Happy! And then your cards remind me of Nature's beauty - her endless array of gorgeousness. My favorite part of your lovely, peaceful cards, is the way the sentiment has been placed. Layered nicely, with that wonderful snow featured in every crevice of the writing on the top side of the letters - a fantastic design idea! I love these cards, and feel inspired in every way! Thank you for sharing yourself! xoxoxox

All these layers and dies, pretty papers just come together in your talented hands to make lovely cards. The eyes just keep looking and finding more beautiful things to admire. I absolutely love how you've used the trees die with the mesh, and the wonderful sprigs, and elements in that floral arrangement. I have to fiddle with the IO branch die - even with the super special metal shim I have (not the Sizzix precision plate, it's better than that one!) but it's one of my favorite dies, not withstanding. It looks like a real pine branch. Great work, and easy to see why you're a featured Guest Designer. Congratulations on that spot! TFS & hope your T'giving was happy as well. Hugs

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great time...the roads were fairly good which is always something I worry about when traveling! I am a little exhausted though...I have been spending most of the day today decorating outside and hopefully do the inside this week! Then onto shopping, backing...etc! Phew, this next 4 wks is gonna FLY by!
Have a great week my friend!

I can't decide which colour palette is more beautiful, they both work so well for a wintery creation! The line of trees in the back is wonderful and I so love that 3D sentiment! Poinsettias and shabby ribbon and foliage, so many things so say ooh and aah at! I really adore the touch of lace, so soft and just the right amount of feminine!! You have inspired me again my friend!! sending hugs :)
