Die-Versions Christmas Ornaments

Happy Monday!! I hope all of your holiday preparations are going well!! I still don't have all of my shopping done or cards made - ugh!! Time's running out one me. It's my turn to post on the Die-Versions blog and I have a Christmas project to share with you today. If you use the code lisa15 you'll receive 15% off your regular price Die-Versions order.

I made ornaments last year using Die-Versions dies and vinyl and I just loved how they turned out, so I made more this year. You can see last year's version HERE.

I started with clear ornaments and then removed the top. I poured about a tablespoon of Future Floor Polish inside and rolled it around until it coated the entire surface. Then I added the glitter and rolled the ornament until the entire surface was covered. Isn't the sparkle gorgeous??!! The Whispers Christmas Word Tree was cut in green vinyl and then adhered to the front of the ornament. If it doesn't lay flat or bumps appear, you can just use a heat gun to flatten the vinyl.

For this one, I used the Whispers Angels of Peace, cut in red vinyl. The dies cut the vinyl perfectly. The beautiful crinkle ribbon is Christmas Red from DL.ART's Traditional Christmas Bundle and the green is Christmas Green from the same bundle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

These are gorgeous Lisa! I loved the one you did last year, but these are really just so festive with the vibrant red and greens! I love the traditional palette and when you throw glitter into the mix, you really just can't go wrong!!

I'm happy to say I am all done my cards for this year, any cards I make now go to my stash for next year, yay! I woke up this morning to the most beautiful white world, I can't wait to get outside and play! I hope you have a wonderful day my friend :)

Wow, these are SO pretty! Great idea and I LOVE the sparkle and the dies you used!! I would love to find some time to make a few with Arya but I don't think that's gonna happen this year:( We will look forward to next year~

So, are you all set for Christmas? I am trying to finish up on things this week. I have to have my family (back home) done by Saturday as we have our Christmas gathering at my brothers cabin! I am almost...done! I will be up late the next few nights for sure, lol! It is so crazy how fast this year went and especially this month! I am looking forward to the new year..hehe! Maybe things will slow down..fingers crossed!
Have a great wknd! Hope you are doing something fun! It is SO cold here right now..only -8 for a high today and now we are expecting 5 inches of snow Friday evening into Saturday! The little ones sure love the snow so I'm all for it as long as I don't have to drive in it:(

Wow, Lisa, these are brilliant! I remember the ornaments you made last year (clicked back for a quick look) but I like these even better! The traditional colours are always my favourite! Love the die-cuts you chose! Your technique for coating the inside with sparkle worked fabulously - these look amazing! Loving the gorgeous ribbon too!

I just love these ornaments- the glitter is amazing, but really love the vinyl- esp since I have the first die. I did not ever think of vint=yl on an ornament, just for iron on;s..... Just Gorgeous!!!

The traditional red and green ornaments you have created are divine. I do love the glitter and sparkle. At my home glitter seems to be everywhere...even in our food. My hard boiled egg for breakfast was quite pretty with some gold glitter adorning it. All hroughout the day and from every room in the house I can hear Mr. C pronounce..."GLITTER". Merry Christmas and Glitter Sparkles Dear...
