Lavinia World Challenge #4

Hello everyone and happy 4th of July to my friends in the USA!! It’s time for a new Lavinia World Challenge featuring Lavinia stamps and papers. We are a bi-weekly Challenge Blog and the theme will be Anything Goes using stamps (either rubber or clear, but no digi stamps). Details are found under the "rules" tab on the Challenge Blog.

For my projects, I used a circle mask for the moon and then applied Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet for the background, and then flicked some water on the cards.

While the mask was still on, I used Distress Oxide Broken China to stamp the Embrace Your Dreams sentiment. After removing the mask, I used Versafine Clair Golden Meadow to stamp the Moon.  Next were the Hanging Lanterns and I filled in the circle using a Uni-Ball Pen Signo Gel - White, which I also used for stars.

Using Versafine Clair Nocturne, I stamped the Fir Tree 1 and Forest Scene.

Maka  was also stamped with Nocturne. For the hills, I tore paper and then inked the edges with Wilted Violet and a little of the Nocturne for depth.

Lavinia World Products Used

We prefer that your submission use Lavinia stamps, but they are not required. However, if you do use Lavinia stamps in your project, your chances of winning are doubled for each entry. The winner of the challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies. Please note that although we carry the full Lavinia range, we are not part of any other entity or Facebook group that carries Lavinia stamps. ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenges will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize. Also note that the gift certificates are ONLY valid at the Lavinia World website.

Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram. Head on over to the Lavinia World Challenge Blog to see the projects my design team sisters created for today's challenge and then link up your project!! I can't wait to see what you create!!

Hooooowwwwwl! Lisa, happy 4th to you! Such beautiful creations these are with the feel of a magical Yellowstone Park. Your colors are enchantingly gorgeous, with that unexpected aura around the moon and the green high lighting to feature the misty colors closer to the land. Gorgeous card! Sigh. I do believe even a mermaid could be happy there! hugs, de

Happy 4th of July Lisa! I love this beautiful card. The inky background is just stunning. The silhouettes look amazing on that background. Love that moon too, looks so real and who doesn't love a full moon, we just don't love the craziness it causes. lol But I love the way a full moon lights everything up at night. Wonderfully done with this card, but then again, you always do wonderfully on every card my friend! Hugs, Brenda
