Happy Friday!! I hope you have fun plans for the last weekend of 2012!! Wow, how is that possible?? This year flew by. Friday means it's time for another fun challenge at Little Scrap Pieces!! Brr...it's cold outside...our challenge is to link up any winter card, layout or project :)

For my card, I used kraft paper for the base and paper from My Mind's Eye All Is Bright paper stack. Winter Wishes is from K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes stamp set.

The ornaments are Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments 2011 dies. They were glittered with super-fine glitter from Martha Stewart and tied with hemp fiber.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge - Anything Goes
  2. Sunday Funday #4 - Anything Goes
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Little Scrap Pieces to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Winter project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

Birthday Card and WINNER!!

Happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a great week!! We are digging out from a ton of snow. I am not a fan of snow, but it is beautiful when everything is covered in white, looking peaceful and serene :)

I discovered the other day when I needed a birthday card, that I my stash was really low, so I have one to share with you today. The paper is heavy-weight cardstock from Canvas Corp. The bottom two layers were cut with Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics A and B. The B layer was embossed with a Cuttlebug Floral Screen embossing folder. The butterfly is a Spellbinders Fanciful Flight die, inked with Angel Pink and embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. A Spellbinders Floral Oval was attached with foam tape. A Spellbinders Classic Ovals Small was stamped with a Tim Holtz Floral Tattoo stamp in Angel Pink from Memento and attached with foam tape. The label is a Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags 1, the top oval inked with Angel Pink Memento Ink and attached with foam tape. Happy Birthday is from JustRite Stampers Fleur de Lis stamp set.

Decorate to Celebrate #41 - New Year's/Winter Party

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!! I'm sorry this post is late...we were hit with the blizzard...so much snow :( We didn't lose power, but I wasn't able to get an internet connection all day.

It's the last challenge of the year at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #43, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a New Year's or Winter Party. Let's celebrate everything wonderful about bringing in the New Year with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more :)

For my New Year's party, I created a wine or champagne topper. The paper is from My Mind's Eye Penny Lane stack. The bottom edge was cut with a Spellbinders Labels 4 die, and the insert was cut with a Spellbinders Classic Rectangles Small. Happy New Year and 2013 were cut from a Tim Holtz Inside Out die. The crinkle ribbon is from Karen of Little Scrap Pieces.

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Decorate to Celebrate to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your New Year's/Winter project...I can't wait to see what you create :)
