Pink Flamingo Pool Party

Happy Sunday evening, everyone! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Can you believe August is here already? Wow, where is this year going? My visitors left late this afternoon and I am totally exhausted. I am trying to make some rounds tonight to visit blogs but I can barely keep my eyes open.

I managed a little time in my craft room and created a pink flamingo pool party sign and invites for the Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #5 - Block, BBQ or Neighborhood Party.
The sign base is 6" x 12". I attached the waves, flamingos (aren't they adorable!) and words with foam tape to give it dimension. I welded the flamingo invites together on my gypsy.

Recipe:
  • Flamingos - Life's a Beach at 7" for the sign, 5" for the invites
  • Waves - Life's a Beach at 2"
  • Pool Party - Luau at 5"
  • Seeing Spots embossing folder - flamingos on sign
  • Swiss Dots embossing folder - invite flamingo
  • Swirls embossing folder - waves
  • Foam tape
  • DCWV paper (blue base)
  • Core'dinations Core Couture - flamingos and pool party
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful week :D

Like your flamingo idea. Do you know how a flamingo gets its pink color? It's from the food it eats.
