Water You Up To

Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you have fun plans for the weekend!

I have a quick post tonight. The challenge this week at Paper Playtime is a project with water. For this card, I used a cut of Ariel from Disney Dreams Come True, but I used different coloring so it doesn't really look like Ariel.

Recipe
  • K Andrew's Splashtastic Summer Stamp Set - click HERE to purchase your own set!
  • Pack Your Bags - island and water at 5"
  • Disney Dreams Come True - mermaid at 2"
  • Tim Holtz Sizzex Rays Embossing folder
  • Cuttlebug Seeing Spots Embossing Folder - sand
  • Cuttlebug Branches Embossing Folder - tree trunks
  • Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder - leaves
  • Sizzex Swirls Embossing Folder - water
  • Tim Holtz Walnut Distress Ink - sand
  • Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink - rays and edges of sentiment
  • Tim Holtz Broken China Distress Ink - sentiment
  • Spellbinders Nestabilities Die - sentiment
  • Foam Dots - sentiment and mermaid
  • White Gel Pen
I am entering this card in the Paper Playtime Challenge #52 - Projects With Water.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great evening :)

I'm trying to catch up on my blogging. Evidently you can pick up a cold virus at Mall of America too! Now that I have Arnold's voice in my head saying, I'll be back"...did you remember what you were going to tell me? Oh my gosh, I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one that does that! lol! Hope your having a great Saturday!

My dear crafty friend, you have no idea how much joy you bring me! :o) Just like the gorgeous sunshiny-embossed background, you light up my days! (Sappy, but TRUE!) I am in love with the plethora of textures found all over this happy creation. Your inking is so fabulous and the sparkle looks divine. It was so genius to use Ariel, but alter her up so it doesn't look like her! So versatile. Puns are always fun, too! Beautiful work, as always... I hope your weekend is lovely, Lisa! (P.S. I totally thought of you when I finally bought my first piece of Core Couture CS! I'm so grateful you alerted me/us to its existence! My life will never be the same...) ;) Hehe.

Hugs and blessings! :o)
