Hoot Hoot Whoo-Ray!

Gahh...I haven't posted in so long!! Almost a week! I don't think I've gone that long since I started my blog in March. I am really trying to get to my craft room and not having much luck. And I am soo sorry I haven't been around to comment...my real job is keeping me super-busy and then the holidays and family. I apologize and I am going to get caught up with everyone this week, I promise!
I had to make time to visit my craft room so I could use my new Twinkle Toes cartridge that I won from my dear friend Melanie of In Love With A Bug!! Thanks again, Melanie!! I LOVE it!! I used the adorable owl cut. I embossed her with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and Spellbinders Flowers plate. I attached each layer with foam tape for dimension and I attached her with a wobble so she really dances! For the background, I used a Spellbinders Nestabilities lacy squared die and embossed it with the Flowers plate. The background paper is from My Mind's Eye.
And I used the K Andrew Designs Owly Hoo stamp set. Aren't these awesome??!!
To purchase your own set of these fabulous stamps, or to see all of the K Andrew Design stamp sets available, click HERE!

I am entering this card in Pat of Pat Scraps blogaversary giveaway! Happy one year blogaversary, Pat!!

Here is a view from my deck today. Yep, snow. Big, fat white flakes. It's too early for snow :(

Hey Lisa,
LOVE your cute little owl!! It's such a happy owl, looks like she's dancing:) I love the pretty pattern paper and that sweet embossed owl is the cutest! GREAT card and so back to see you back.
It has been crazy for me too:) I just can't seem to get in my craft room much either. Especially since Arya was born..it's hard to not go visit her daily. I am so thankful that my daughter and her finance purchased a home in our town. We are lovin it!
Plus we had company all week for Thanksgiving so it has been very busy. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too Lisa! We have not received to much snow yet but you know....it's calm before the storm, LOL! It is for sure to come! Your picture is beautiful, TFS!

This is so precious, my sweet crafty friend! I long for that cartridge! Hehe. I absolutely love this sweet owl! You made her perfectly purple, with such gorgeous embossing. I love the scallopy background (she needs a fancy one like that, after all!) and the gorgeous paper. And the sentiment is so precious! I love how the brads coordinate so well with the paper. :) Excellent job, my friend! I hope your professional busy-beeness is of the happy variety. Isn't it sad when we can't craft to our heart's content? So many obligations. Sending you lots of sparkly hugs to help you through! (And I'm under snow, too!)

Hugs and blessings! :o)

Hey Lisa,
That snow is so beautiful...especially because it's in your back yard and not mine. We are having freakishly warm weather, and I have no complaints. Your card is just adorable...especially with that cute sentiment you paired it with. Twinkle Toes has such cute images...great cart to win, lucky girl. I was glad to see your post...wondered if I'd missed something. Good luck with your craft room. :)

Hey Lisa!
No need to be sorry friend, we know how it goes! I can't believe you have snow by you but up here in the land of frozen tundra, notta, nothing. But then again, your snow probably melts fast where Minnesota snow last until June. (Not kidding, last year a snow pile in St. Paul lasted until June 10th. Ick.) Your card is adorable! I like the embossing you did on it. What a great score on winning this cartridge, congrats! I hope things calm down a bit for you and you can get back to what you love doing. I know I speak for many of your friends on here when I say we miss you! (But understand). Take it easy, peasy! lol! (Oh, yes I did!)
