Paper Playtime Challenge - Anything Goes

For the Inaugural Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party, click HERE

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend :) It's time for a challenge at Paper Playtime, and I want to welcome all the new design team members!! I look forward to being on the team with all of you :)

The theme this week is an easy one - Anything Goes!! The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate from The Robin's Nest.

Yellow isn't a color I use very often (grey, either!!), but the color palette for this card is from this week's JustRite Stamps Challenge (see picture below). The cardstock is from DCWV. The base was created with Spellbinders Hexagons dies. A larger Hexagon die was used for the label, as well as a Spellbinders Fancy Tags Three die. The top layer is a Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags 2 die, inked with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. "Just For You" is from JustRite's Thank You Labels 20 stamp set, inked with Versafine in Onyx. The layer was popped up with foam tape for dimension. The ribbon is from May Arts, inked with Mustard Seed Distress Ink.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. JustRite Friday Challenge #61 - Color Challenge (see pic below)
  2. Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
  3. Sunday Funday #7 - Linky Party

Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Paper Playtime to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Anything Goes project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

My sweetest friend, this is beautiful! This uncharacteristic color palette can work so well.. it's like little bursts of sunshine breaking through stormy days (of life)! A marvelous just for you card. The bow is absolutely stunning, especially in that gorgeous ribbon! The hexagon dies look amazing. They're so perfectly placed that it looks like an embossing folder. :o) Fantastic work as always, my talented friend! (Sorry for the delay.. I thought the bug was gone, but it came right back on Sunday. So unsparklie again.)

Hugs and blessings!

Lisa, I LOVE this card!! The design is just fabulous -- I really, really, really love all those hexagons!! I thought of you when I "tried" to used my Spellbinders dies this weekend!! LOL... You would have laughed out loud had ya seen me!! And I just kept muttering, "Lisa never makes it look this hard!!" Guess I need some tips and pointers on how to use those things -- I mean, they've been gathering DUST for so long... I really should learn!! Anyway, you just keep on inspiring me, my creative friend!! :)
