Happy Monday and happy July!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I am guest designing today at Craftin' Desert Divas for the second week of the Craft It Up & Link It Up On the Farm Linky Party :)
You have one more week to create a project with anything to do with a farm. Tractor, animals, barn, farmers and whatever else you may come up with.
Every linky party will have a sponsor and a winner, plus a top 3. The winner will be announced on a semi-weekly basis. The more times you link up, the more chances you have to win. If you make the Top 3 you will also be invited to be a guest designer on an upcoming linky party!!
The sponsors for this linky party are...
For my project, I dusted off my Cricut and Gypsy to create this farm-themed card. I couldn't wait to use the adorable Teddy Bear Parade cartridge I won from Linda at Crafting With Nana!! Thanks again, Linda!! I love it...so many cute bears!! I chose the farmer bear for this card :)
The base of the card is from Country Life. I used my Gypsy to weld two shadows together for the base. All of the papers are from my stash. The barn and silo were cut with Core'dinations Black Magic paper. The barn was embossed with a Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder and the silo with a Tim Holtz Brick folder. They were then sanded to bring out the red core of the paper. The grass was embossed with a Cuttlebug Branches folder. The chickens, also from Country Life, were popped up with foam tape for dimension, as was the farmer bear.
The stamp is I think from Michael's $1.00 bin, stamped in Versafine Onyx ink.
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Craftin' Desert Divas and link up your On the Farm project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

Fantastic card!!! The embossing and distressing is wonderful!! Such a cute bear, too!!
My sweetest friend, this scenic card is spectacular! I love so many things about it, but what first struck me was the ridiculously effective embossing! You've so beautifully shown what a difference embossing can make. Those two folders are even higher on my wish list now. :o) Not only that, but the fact that you used red core paper for the barn and silo is simply genius. The sweet bear couldn't be more adorable.. I love his googly eyes and precious plaid shirt. The popped-up chickens make me smile. You haven't missed a beat with your old pals Gypsy and Cricut! :o) Fantastic work as always, my dear Lisa! I hope you have a twinkly night. :o)
Hugs and blessings!
your little farmer bear is adorable, and like the textured look of the farm..well done. Have a good night,
