Happy Wednesday!! I hope you are having a great week!! It's time for a new challenge at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #57, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a Luau, Beach or Pool Party or Celebration!! Let's celebrate everything wonderful about summertime get-togethers with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more :)
For this challenge, I created a picnic basket and tropical flower hair clips. I found the directions for this adorable basket HERE. It was fun and easy to make!! The paper is from Die Cuts With a View Tahiti stack.
The flower hair clips are made from Spellbinders Daisy Flower Topper dies. The flowers in the center were cut from the DCWV paper.

Great project! Fun idea making the flower hair clips, I would never have thought of that!
This turned out really cute Lisa... love the papers you used for the basket...I have this tutorial but never tried to attempt it yet... I believe the one I got is using a sheet of 12 x 12 so the basket maybe a bit bigger.... Thanks for the inspiration may have to try it out on some junky papers and see how it turns out...
What a fun project with such awesome dimension! I love the look of those super fun flowers :)
Best crafty wishes!

My sweetest friend, this project brings such summery JOY! :o) I love your picnic basket something fierce... I'm itching to make one now! It's so sweet and I love that you filled it with pretty hair clips. :o) The paper for the basket is brilliant, as it whisks us away on vacation while stuck at home. :o) I never would have thought to make hair clips with dies... your creative genius knows no limits! They're beautiful and the fussy-cut flower centers are wonderful. Stunning and inspiring creation as always, my dear Lisa! I hope you're having a gorgeous, sunshiny day. :o)
Hugs and blessings!
