Happy Sunday!! I hope you are having a great weekend!! I have been working away in my craft room, trying to get projects done before I go on vacation later this month. I'll be gone for two weeks, so not only to I have to complete the projects but schedule the posts too. Plus pack!! So much to do :)
There are a couple of challenges I wanted to enter, so I have a baby card to share with you today :)
The papers for this card are from the 12x12 My Mind's Eye Lost and Found stack. I love the patterns, but the paper is thinner than the smaller packs, so it's not as easy to work with. I just used it for the base and anything I didn't have to die cut.
Spellbinders Exquisite Circles were used for the medallion. The paper is heavyweight cardstock from Canvas Corp. It was inked with Tim Holtz Spun Sugar Distress Ink, as were all of the edges of the papers. Each layer of the circles were popped up with foam tape for dimension and pearls were added from my stash. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts and stamped in TH Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.

Wow Lisa, so lovely & elegant! I am going away for one week later in the month and I am scrambling to get everything done! Isn't it fun to go on vacation when all the kids are back in school?

I am on vacation now and funny thing is, I packed paper projects to bring with me to work on in the evening. It took me 2 days to make sure I had everything cut for assembly and the right tools packed....it took me 1/2 hour to pack my clothes-LOL! Your baby card is beautiful, Lisa! I am slowly adding to my TH stamp pad collection...I love the 2 pinks you used!

My sweetest friend, this is simply exquisite! I truly love that you went with sheer elegance for this baby card. It seems not many do! The sentiment is adorable and I love that you matched it to the backing paper... and of course pearls make everything even better. :o) That medallion is GORGEOUS! I just keep staring at it as I type since I opened it into its own window. :o) Masterfully designed, right down to the sweet pearl center. Oh wow! Elegant stunning as always :) I have to laugh though because you just left a comment on my blog about how your stuff is impossible to mail and now I'm thinking that as I look at this one. I remember one time I spent $50 shipping 3 packages via UPS that had lots of handmade paper things I wanted well protected. Pretty crazy that the supplies used to make the stuff cost under $10 and I spent all that on shipping.
