Happy Wednesday, everyone!! I hope you are having a great week!! We actually had a light dusting of snow Monday night. Ugh. Thankfully, it didn't stay on the ground long. But it's supposed to get down to 18 tonight. It seems too early to be this cold already. I hope that doesn't mean a long, cold winter :/
It's time for another challenge at Decorate to Celebrate. The theme this week is Thanksgiving/Fall Part 2. Let's celebrate everything wonderful about turkeys, pilgrims, family, being thankful and more with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more :)
For my Thanksgiving table, I had to create Tim Holtz' Quirky Turkeys from last year!! I just love them and couldn't wait to make them this Thanksgiving season :)
I followed Tim's instructions, including printing out the template for the turkey body. I made the wire holders from 20 gage wire. The tickets are Spellbinders Labels and Tags dies. Both sentiments are from K Andrew Design's Fall-o-ween stamp set.
I am entering these in the following challenges:
Funny that I was posting my turkey project and I look out the window and see this!! There were actually eight of them...one is hidden behind the tree. Their coloring is so beautiful, isn't it??!!
Now it's your turn!! Head on over to Decorate to Celebrate to see the amazing projects my talented design team sisters have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Thanksgiving/Fall project...I can't wait to see what you create :)

Oh, these are so cute! Thanks giving in US most often coincides with our countries traditional celebration Martini (not the champagne :), but unfortunately we eat goose or cock - otherwise this would be an idea that I would definitely like to use on our celebratory table.
Lovely little turkeys. Really fun place cards for a Thanksgiving dinner or get together. We also have wild turkeys that like to lurk around. They all disappear right around Thanksgiving. Creative Bliss Dear...

LOVE these!! The paper you used is just beautiful! :)
We have wild turkeys that roam our streets where we live, and I don't even live in a rural area. It is hilarious watching them walking down the sidewalk. They do cause some traffic jams tho because they take FOREVER to cross the street and cars just have to sit and wait!! Some people get quite annoyed.... I think it's funny!! :)
By the way... I love the view from your window, it's gorgeous!! I just get to see all my neighbors houses and cars go by. :(
Have a wonderful weekend.

These are delightful! These make me think of a conversation my hubby had with some second graders the other day. My hubby was informed that the male turkey protects the eggs because their bright coloring scares off any predators! Hee! Hee! Gotta love 7 year olds!
Hugs!
