Ride The Waves!!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope you are having a great week so far!! It's my turn to post on the Craftin Desert Diva's blog and I have a project to share with you today using Tara's awesome new Summer Lovin' and Teenage Dream stamp sets!!

I am so loving these new stamps...so many fun uses!! I created a surfing-themed card to showcase the sentiments. The background paper is from Recollections. Spellbinders Standard Circles Large were used to cut the circles and the edges were sanded. The surfers are from Taylored Expression's Ride the Waves stamp set.

The waves are a Taylored Expressions Ride The Wave Border die. The surfboards are Taylored Expressions Surfboard die, with matching stamps from the Ride The Waves stamp set.

The banner is a Spellbinders Nautical Frames and Accents die. Ride the Waves is from the Summer Lovin' stamp set. #Dope and...

...#awesomity are from the Teenage Dream stamp set:

You can purchase both of these sets, along with the fun Punny set at the Craftin Desert Divas Shop. And we would love to see your projects using any of the three stamp sets in our Craftin Desert Divas Gallery.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
  1. DL.Art - April Linky
  2. Funday Friday Challenge - Anything Goes
  3. Every Day is an Occasion - April Linky
  4. Just B Creative Crazy - April Linky
Finally, after what seems like the never-ending winter, there are signs of spring!!

I took this on Sunday...my first Daffodil of the year!! Okay, so it's not totally open yet, but it's close!! It's rained practically non-stop since so I couldn't go out and get a picture when it was fully open. But it still makes me happy to look at :) Thanks so much for stopping by!!

My sweetest friend, this summery beachy card is amazing! You're doing an amazing job pairing Tara's stamps with Taylored Expressions goodies! :o) I love your card design, with the stamps in their own circles divided by the gorgeous wave. And the surfboards are gorgeous! You must have had such fun making this one, my summer-loving friend! :o) And your daffodil is gorgeous! At long last, the snow has left! YAY! I hope my daffodils open soon. :o) Have a beautiful, sunshiny day, Lisa!

Hugs and blessings,
Karen

Awesome card - & perfect for a surfing teenager. Loved the way you used the stamps and that border die as a wave...the dp made it really seem like a big wave splashing over the boards. Well done on using these stamps & dies to make such a fun summer beach card. Happy to see you've got some daffodils beginning to bud. Spring is coming for sure! TFS & Hugs
